didn't your surgeon tell you that there was a chance of compensentory sweating and if he didn't he should have. it's been known that ets can cause compensentory sweating in the back and legs after said surgery.ets really is only for people with minor hyperhidrosis mostly occurring in the hands it has not had good results for people with more extensive hyperhidrosis such as your daughters. i myself suffer from hyperhidrosis i'm 23 yrs. old.
If your doctor should deem your sweating is abnormal, ask him/her about Drysol. Drysol is aluminum chloride hexahydrate and when applied to the underarms works to block the sweat glands and plug the pores. It is a prescription medication and should only be used with a doctor's guidance.
Your doctor may suggest an in office surgical or laser treatment.

Google hyperhidrosis and read up on that. You didnt say if you sweat during the day, or if theres particular areas you sweat most... I have it myself and it really *****, but there are products ( OTC Drysol, Perspirex ect) that can help, I havent tried them yet cuz their a bit expensive but they have good reviews.. I also try to eat less salt, sugars, stinky stuff like onion and fats cuz they all seem to make me sweat more. I also sweat more when I'm cold oddly enough..
I was told that I should not use anti-perspirant because the aluminum in there causes the blockage. However, plain deoderant doesn't do it for me as I hate having the wet sweaty feeling. So, I continue to use anti-perspirant, and I continue to get the bumps. They probably started when I was 14 or so, and I am almost 30...I don't think it will stop :-(
If you can get away with using just a deoderant, try that. See if it helps to not use the anti perspirant.
Good day everyone, I'm new here. I'm a 23 year old man, and as far back as I can remember I've had hyperhidrosis, a very fast metabolism, anxiety/nervous issues, and a heart rate that has always been slightly faster than some others.
Luckily, the docs can't find anything else wrong with my heart, but I still must be careful as heart problems run in my family. Recently I've found out why; hyperactive thyroid.
I am starting to suspect that a mens 17% strength, or higher anti-perspirant deodorant causes a person with Lyme Disease to go into a severe herx reaction rash because they can't sweat out the toxins building up. I think this has been happening to me, I didn't realize it. I sweat heavy, and I have a rash all over after using the stronger anti-perspirant deodorant instead of another brand that's lower in strength while outdoors in the summer.
I did some research and found out that Drysol (typically used under the arms as an anti-persperant) works to get rid of this. You can find it at any drugstore...and fyi if you have very sweaty underarms it's a miracle drug. Just apply Drysol to your palms before bed, and within a day or two the condition should clear up! I did this and told my sister to as well and we haven't had a problem since. No idea why it works but it does!
Certain foods like hot and spicy foods can make you sweat more. Medicated anti perspirants like the physician can prescribe drysol, and a non prescription antiperspirant is also available called maxim may help. Bad breath (halitosis) is caused by improper oral hygiene, gum and tooth disorders and certain medications. Follow good oral hygiene and consult a dentist to rule out other causes.

Just wondering, would Systane Balance dry eye drops be sufficient to use on the eyes in the event of anti-perspirant spray getting into them as I cannot use tap water as our supply is dirty? My eye doctor said drops would be sufficient to remove such things before.
Girlfriend. ..I so know how you feel...I was so confused about the smells coming from my crotch rocket but I went to my ob abd there were no signs of infection but my vagina was getting overheated and so were ny inner thighs and boy was it cresting a killer combo...lol...of course I can laugh now that it's remedied but I wasn't initially laughing. As someone else mentioned, an anti perspirant nipped the stinch in the bud for me.
It may also help to use some anti-perspirant and OTC anti-histamines. Visit your dermatologist to get this evaluated and treated promptly.
