Avatar f tn This was definitely an allergic reaction to the Ivory soap. Funny thing is, I can use Ivory soap to wash my hands and not get bumps. Anyway, try using a different more gentle and milder soap on your face. Neutrogena is also a good soap for sensitive skin. The bumps may go away. Does Aveeno make a facial soap ? I am not familiar with the Aveeno line. That might be an option too as you say you use Aveeno Clear Complexion face lotion.
1415482 tn?1459702714 I discovered I am allergic to Ivory soap. The funny thing is I can wash with Ivory on my hands and not get bumps on my hands. On my face, the Ivory soap causes bumps. I also used a shampoo once that caused me to have little bumps all over my head. Needless to say, I threw this shampoo away. Do you have sensitive skin ? It sounds like you do. Have you recently started using a new kind of laundry soap or laundry powder ? I have heard that can cause an allergic reaction too.
148588 tn?1465778809 The World Wildlife Fund on Friday announced a partnership with various religious groups — some of which are themselves fueling the crisis by allowing religious artifacts to be made from ivory. "Halting wildlife trade is a moral issue," Dekila Chungyalpa, WWF’s Sacred Earth program director, said in a statement announcing the partnership with the Alliance of Religions and Conservation.
Avatar f tn Q wave is the next stop this contiues through the s wave... and resets with the t wave getting ready for another p wave to fire....notice no delta wave. In a normal ecg there is no delta wave...now don't get worried. A delta wave is just part of the qrs complex this is the qrs wave put together, called a qrs complex ...it's the big spike you see on an ecg screen....the first little pump is the p wave...then a little dip q wave ..big spike up R wave...and back down S wave.
Avatar f tn Oh yeah this forum is full of us that have got SVR from these two new drugs, myself i did the VIC............
Avatar n tn Perhaps you should ask your question at the expert forum not in the community. Community is for patients supporting each other; expert forum is for getting the technical questions answered. Maybe it would be better if there were an internet site for a community of experts to discuss heart issues. It would be very interessting to listen and/or read these discussions. Most of us in this community, however, can only relate to what it is like to have a debilitating arrhythmia.
Avatar f tn A U wave can actually be a normal finding. It is a wave found after the T wave (the waves routinely seen on the ECG include the P wave, the QRS complex, and the T wave). The concern comes if the U wave is at least half (some references say at least 1/3) the size of the preceding T wave. This means that the length of this wave has to be added to that of the QT interval in calculating the QTc. And, a QTc interval >0.46 in girls is a risk for lethal arrhythmias.
220090 tn?1379167187 When I first started reading this forum, most of the eot+12 week results were relapse. Now they are overwhelmingly SVR. This realization has made my day!!!
Avatar n tn t been stated the configuration of the T wave abnormality. It can be a tall T wave and the cause includes hyperkalaemia (too much potassium in the blood), hyperacute myocardial infarction (heart attack...heart muscle damage) and left bundle branch block (causes arrhythmia). Usually requires other abnormal wave forms in addition to the t wave abnormality.
Avatar f tn I really like the name Allison. But I'm having a boy!
733362 tn?1489794936 Can you explain the thing with the Ivory Soap? Is it a plain bar of Ivory Soap? It helps with Restless legs and leg/feet cramps? I must say, I've never heard of this before. I think it's interresting. Hang in there. Hopefully others with experience in Valium will weigh in with additional advice. All the best to you.
Avatar f tn Are there any drugs to help the weakness and the peripheral neuropathy? I would be very grateful to know ASAP!
Avatar n tn the Q-wave (this negative wave is the vector from the opposite wall).
Avatar f tn t understand what you mean by the presence of a p wave during her stress test? A p wave is typical in the average heart unless there's afib present. It can be elongated, raised, or supressed with other heart conditions. On an EKG trace, right after the p wave is what's known as the PR segment. In this area you typyicall see a flat line. But sometimes you might see a slight slur or delta wave. This is an indication of something called Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome.
Avatar n tn It took a little while to saturate my system with it - but I can obtain delta wave sleep - without drugs - for the first time in 60 years. No kidding - I suffered from AI since I was a baby. The past three years have been so much better. I can function somewhat normally. Sleep hygiene is still extremely important - but I can honestly say I am running at about an 80% to 85% quality of life (verses about 20% for the entirety of my life).
554422 tn?1220575366 Hi, My best guess is that -25 refers to the axis tilt of the T wave - essentially its a measure of how the electrical signal travels through the heart during the T wave (the T wave is the repolarization wave - when the ventricles are relaxing after the beat). There is also an axis measurement for the QRS complex and the P wave.
168348 tn?1379357075 I am allergic to cinnamon, Ivory Soap, Amoxicillin and can't drink orange juice :o( (although I loveeeee it..
4528139 tn?1362636267 My mom is a hospice nurse and swears by putting a bar of ivory soap(plain ivory) under the sheets for restlesz leg syndrome. You can try and see if it helps.
1399363 tn?1462342610 (usually after QRS, T wave higher and P wave lower. not the other way around) ask the doctor, he said its some mistakes during recording such as breathing, movement, etc. but i only noticed it lately didnt notice it before and it happen quite often lately. and i guess i record it the usual same way so i find it weird and still thinking about it. this is some ecg result part that i find weird. http://i47.tinypic.com/2qwip6o.
