I don't have any experience but wanted to bump this up and offer at least a little insight. I think that if you approach your OBGYN and explain this that they may refer you to a fertility specialist. It is one thing to try for a year without conceiving and quite another to know that a medication your hubby is taking is possibly causing a fertility issue on his end.
every time i have a semen analysis they find sperm in my ejaculation. its only about 7 million sperm and there not motile.

Well, when I looked up this medication, it is listed as a chemotherapy medication, and is also used to treat Leukemia.

Not to mention genes for things like intelligence and whatnot. So, we have to pick really great men to have our children with. I have used two ecstacy pills at the midnight which connects 4th June to 5th June. (This was a rare condition and I do not normally use drugs. The previous one which I has used was 2 months ago). You may think that there are three days between the ecstascy usage and the sexual relationship.
My question is: Did the pills made any harm to my sperms and effect the babies health ? Can this situation give any harm to our baby ? Can there be any problem ?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with FAP(Familial Adenomatous Polyposis) and having children. My boyfriend was recently diagnosed with this genetic disorder, which causes colon cancer, and he has a 50% chance of passing it on to children. There is the option of IVF, but being that there's nothing wrong with me I'd prefer not to have to take all those drugs. I was wondering if anyone knew of other options, maybe some sort of sperm screening?
Used dexamethasone some years ago,during that period I gained a lot of fat but after I stoped d drugs I went back to my normal self but I discovered that each time I have sex the sperm leaks out almost immediately even if I get up after hours. I've not been able to concieve pls help is there a drug I can use?

My sitaution for many years was that my BF had an extremely low sperm count, and so I never got pregnant with him and now 14 yrs later I am pregnant just like that! My curious question is ....what type of medication would my boyfriend have taken for his fertility problem?? Would it have been clomid or formid? my boyfriend has been prescribed oxycotins for a few months now and we are ready to start trying for our second child. im wondering if this drug with have any affect on us conceiving or his sperm count. also i was wondering if we did conceive while he was taking them would it affect our unborn baby?
First of all, outside of a long term relationship where their is reasonable suspicion of monogamy I DO NOT recommend the ingestion of body fluids, nakadashi or any other practices that involve receiving another persons body fluids.

Background: I recently used cocaine at a bachelor party. I consumed around 1.5 grams over a 3 day period while consuming alcohol. I have no prior use of drugs over the last year, nor do I have any drug or alcohol abuse problems. I do not even take aspirin or ibuprofen. I am in great health, workout around 3-5 days a week and only 10% body fat, so my metabolism is high. I had sex with my wife 48hrs, 96hrs, and 132hrs after last use of cocaine.
Clomiphene is known to increase gonadotropin secretion, which, in turn, may stimulate testosterone release and improve sperm output. Hormone values need to be monitored while on this medication and one should not stop the drug unless advised. Whether these two drugs can be taken together or not depends on your medical condition and indication of use of these drugs. You need to go through a very expensive procedure called sperm washing if you want to have a baby with her,don't even think about ejaculating inside her as you could easily infect her this way.Talk to your doctor about this procedure.All the best.
Honestly, I know your frustration with wanting to get pregnant. I've been off birth control for 18 months and still no baby. Like you I wanted drugs as soon as possible to start the process, but there is no point in taking the drugs if your boyfriend's sperm isn't adequate and working properly. The drugs won't do any good with his sperm. I know sometimes it hard to be patient (trust me I truly understand...
