Avatar m tn Honestly, once I quit the hard drugs, and before I got hurt and took norcos, it was great. I went deeply into herbal teas and had my one and only addiction that I doubt I will ever stop, which is sugar. I smoked marijuana, and it helped, until I started having panic attacks so that was out. I was never into getting drunk, and everything else is heavy. I have been doing it my way since I was 14 and had some kind of mental breakdown.

Get you started on prenatals. Of course no alcohol or drugs, cut back on smoking and caffeine if you do that a lot, I wouldn't heavy lift in early pregnancy, most doctors will tell you that. They'll let you know all the do's and don't's.
Avatar f tn 3xlucky, I am SO VERY SORRY to hear this news. I have been following your posts very closely, because I was on the same study drugs and trial. You have been so positive and supportive to all on this trial. I can not express how much this brings me down to hear this news.
Avatar m tn new drugs are always expensive. one good thing about the sovaldi is that the doctors and drug company have outs for that. I am getting ready to take sovaldi and my co-pay if I had to pay out of pocket was $3200. per month but they have programs to help you pay for it or they absorb the costs. So the government can yada-yada-yada about pricing...why don't they focus on this AND drugs that have been available for a long time...like Xifanan....

Avatar m tn Just think what the next ten years will bring, with combinations of SOC, and the best protease, polymerase, and helicase inhibitor drugs, along with newer and less anemia provoking forms of Ribavirin. Hopefully, for the infected group out there, we will reach a point of near 100% SVR, with shorter and shorter protocols...and maybe even less side effects! I feel very happy for the future treaters who fortunately will never know what many of us had to suffer through to get to our SVR's!
1113735 tn?1273174430 m scared to death as I ended up with a zero ANC count and landed myself in the hospital on and off all summer the last time I tried anything. But I'm going to do it again. Good luck to you and I hope we both beat it this time.
