I was here back in 2007 before you even had your second daughter, I just go by a different name now. I had actually been thinking about you recently because I am pregnant, almost 12 weeks now and it was not planned and I've been on Suboxone for over 450 days now due to a horrible addiction.
There's help out there- look into schalorships for treatment centers. There's lots all over this country, and they do offer help if you don't have the money. They're not going to offer it- YOU HAVE TO ASK!!! Florida has a great sober network, and a lot of treatment centers. Delray Beach, Florida has a lot of half way houses, and an amazing sober community. That's where I got sober, and it was a God send for me. I would get him out of Philly for a while.
my mom 78, has severe regurg ,2 jets on the last echo, Mitral valve - san diego cardiologist recommend heart valve repair and to find a surgeon skilled with evalve repairs and non invasive robotic repairs. She lives in Florida but I'm having troubles locating this type of surgeon. Any help in researching?
I want to go to rehab but have no money or insurance. I detoxed off of methadone in April and wasn't able to afford rehab....... The 14 days in a Florida detox were the only two weeks of being "sober" I have experienced....... I am currently in full relapse mode, and desperately in need of rehab. How does one get into a good facility without any means of doing so? Are there any ways to get help?
Not all rehab centers are equal. Many if not most try to do it too quickly with a one size fits all approach, whereas an individual psychiatrist who really knows his stuff will go at your pace. Not that those are easy to find! By the way, you need a new psychiatrist. The one you have doesn't seem to realize he works for you.
I'm not really familiar with a lot of cancer centers, but I did a little research and came up with an article showing that there were 4 cancer centers in Florida awarded the Governor's award for excellence in cancer treatment in 2015. I can't find anything any more recent.

So we tried admitting him (while high) to an inpatient drug rehab. He once again said he has delusions and paranoia and even admitted to coke use. He ended up in the psychiatric unit and after a week of eval. he is outpatient with a brand new scrip of psych meds even with his violent tendencies and pissing hot for coke.
Anybody know why they went outpatient when is clearly abusing his medication, taking street drugs and threatening people's lives?

My husband has been addicted to various drugs and alcohol for over 10 years. His current problem is opiates, xanax, and alcohol. But he'll basically take whatever he can get a hold of. He's tried quitting on his own a bazillion times, only to fail within a few days. We even moved out of state to where he didn't know anyone to buy from, but he just replaced drugs with loads of alcohol. This has caused lots of strain on our relationship and I initiated a seperation last week.
I am off the Opana ER now, and off the Suboxone, (which I had to detox AGAIN FROM). I have been a week after the last detox in a therapy rehab program in Florida. I live with my daughter of 8-years-old and my husband in GA. Prior to being away for this last 11 day detox and week of rehab. concealing process, i was away in March for 10 days for the Opana detox and two weeks of this counseing rehab program. I have been away for most of March and April facing my issues.
One center here in Florida was supposed to start in April-actually started in June. Another center was to start in June......has not started yet-probably will soon, at least by August.
I promised them I wouldn't call and bug them for 2 weeks. I have 8 days left!!!! It is definately a waiting game.

my stepson has been an addict for several years, we had no idea, he doesn't live with us and he's been on his own or living with friends, or staying with is mom in FLA for the last few years. Apparently his mom knew but chose not to tell us, so we've been giving him $$ over the course of the last few years to go towards helping him, and now we find out that was all a lie.
After posting last night I was able to have enough courage to call a Hotline where I spk with a very nice young lady who helped me locate some Rehab centers in our area of Florida. I printed a list of these with numbers for my family member to give to them today. I plan on being there to help in anyway for support and help though what is going to be a very rough time for them. Thank you for your advise and I will continue to post and when he is ready maybe he would like to join in.
