Not a question but I wanted to let this group know about the Dr. Oz Show about when is too old to have a baby. It airs next Fri. 1/27/12 and our very own 1biologist is a guest. It was a very interesting show and there were alot of things brought up about over 40 women TTC especially. Of course all of us TTC over 40 have researched it to death, it is still a good show. It discusses the pros and cons as well as the risks.

I think we should start a movement to get this condition on Dr. Oz since his show is all about medical/health issues.

There r different levels of stress too. Your Dr may ask what type of stress your experiencing. For example, u may be stressed about smaller things like how your going to pay a bill, your friend talking behind your back or why you can't seem to keep the house clean. Or other stressors may be bigger like bankruptcy, losing a lived one or divorce. Some stress will happen but long term & severe stress can lead to repercussions.

Anyone know?

I have a good article from Dr. Oz on some things but am not typing it out at the moment. Just watched his show and love it! I hope he does a fertility/pregnancy episode soon!!! Anyone else a fan of his?

I was due on Wednesday & went into my Drs today for a non stress test & cervical check. Baby looks great & there have been absolutely no cervical changes. So, unless my Rainbow baby, gender unknown (yay!), decides to fool us all, I will go in Tuesday night to start the induction process. I am very nervous about this. I wanted to stay as far away from interventions if possible. Obviously, Peanut has other things in mind. Any advice?

Somewhat like the ice bucket challenge, we (lymies) have been challenging well known people to take a bite out of Lyme. Today Dr Oz did the challenge and had his whole audience participate. It was awesome seeing them do that. He also discussed Avril Lavigne's recent Lyme diagnosis. It is very exciting to see how far we have come in the last few years.

Any test you take will be conclusive because you had no risk.

Has anyone had to a stress test type of thing?

if infidelity is not an issue, you might be sensitivity to his semen. it sounds odd, but it's plausible and it's not as rare as you think. look up Dr. Oz. he had a show about this maybe 3 months ago or so? also, when semen dries up on skin especially on a sensitive place such as the genitals or even your butt crack, it can get really itchy. if you have recently shaved downstairs and had sex, the friction and combination with semen can aggravate the skin as well.

If so, they can give you something for your anxiety. I had the treadmill stress test and I was able to take a xanax. If it's the other one that's a medicine induced stress test where you lay on a table, then I'm not sure. Is your Dr. wanting you to get this test done? Has the chest pain went away since you started using your inhaler? You know anxiety can give alot of us shortness of breath and chest pains.

So at last weeks appointment I found out that my little man is underweight so I am now on bedrest and have to come to the dr every week my dr did the stress test and I don't have any other complications I was only 5 and a half pounds when I was born so he's not concerned he just thinks it's because I'm a small person but he wants to be sure but I cried when he told me he was underweight I just want to know if any other moms have experienced this and did the baby come out alright

added Norvasc to the regament, he is schedule for a stress test and was told to hold his coreg the day before, and can take the next days dose after the test. Why is this?

Well first of all if you really arn't sure i would have the Dr. do another test for chlamydia you don't want to jump to conclusions just yet. Once you have the results in then you know who was right or wrong. Also not very many places give you a false reading... but you really never know... just have them double check. If comes out negative again... well then you know someone's been cheating.. and if its not you then............ well we can leave the rest up to you.

Hello Dr Sean Cummings, I'm needing your expert opinion on my situation. Recently I found out my partner had cheated on me. So afew nights ago I got really drunk and ended up sleeping with a csw. I remember it being protected with a condom and I don't think it broke at all....again I was very drunk but I'm sure if it did I would have noticed. I'm finding it hard to date even though I've been married hv2, 27yrs valtrex 500mg for 8 to 10yrs. The cardiologist picked 9 skipped beats up on the ekg during the stress test. She was not worried. The echo before and after the stress test looked good. She everything looked good and my heart was functioning normally. And to try and "Ignore the PVC's." I have some questions now... 1. Can PVC's cause me to suddenly drop dead? 2. How can all these constant PVC's be considered NORMAL? 3. How can I just ignore them when I feel them right in my heart area? 4.

Found out today I have to do stress test every werk cus mi baby is a lil small I believe it's due to mi blood pressure any body else experience this or similar I ain't tryin to b at the doc so much,smh

So I went to my new cardiologist today and he was pretty upset that my old one didn't order any tests for my pvc's other then a holter. So he is giving me a echo and a stress test next week, well i'm pretty scared to do the stress test I havn't ran since my pvcs because i'm so scared i'm just gonna fall over. How long do they make you run for? and how fast do they make you run? And is there going to be a dr/nurse there to do CPR if anything bad happens?

I have a stress test today they put me stripes in my belly to monitor the babys heart rate. They did it for 20 minutes and they said everything looks good they said if they see something weird you can be there for up to 2 hours.

( I just want everything to be okay.
