I am currently taking the Telepriver protocol with copeg/pegasys interferon/ribavirin etc,,, am in my fourth week and I have some very uncomfortable side effects. 'Roids are a BIG issue,,, traditional treatments are offering minimal relief/results,, anyone had similar complaints? How did you handle it?

My question is, would the increase in acid reflux and stomach pain be a likely side effect of the doxycycline. I know doxycycline can cause acid reflux or stomach pain right after you take it, but could it cause it many hours later? What about the itchy bumps on my arm? I know doxycycline can make your skin sensitive to light, so might that be a skin reaction caused by it?
And I am even more sorry you are having an upset stomach. Common doxycycline side effects include an upset stomach and I was surprised to read that also fairly common is an unexplained rash. Of course a skin reaction to sunlight is also a side effect.
You can take the medication with or without food. I was going to suggest hat you take it with milk but you cannot take it with milk or other dairy products, unless your doctor has told you to.

would this statement not really get you thinking.I never had any serious deseases but thought that the hep c would kill me. how irronic. those serious side effects are all that occur in our bodies, for some of us. I never experienced any thing like this before on the treatment.
Are there any known side effects for Shen Calmer and Liver Happy Capsules? My dog has been taking them for about a week now. He is taking them for anxiety, no signs of relief yet, but no prescriptions have helped him so this is our last resort. So i've been on tenofivor(viread) for about 8months now. I've experienced most of the side effects listed. Recently i've been experiencing a pain from my upper left chest throughout my arm. Mostly at night, then during the day I feel a tingly feeling throughout my body. The last time I had my tests done I was at 70 hbvdna. Of course its not the best test because the American health care system blows. But I've heard we are now getting fibrosis scans and hbsag quanitity scans.
I used both, and found that side effects are similar; tiredness, weight gain, and a slow pulse. Side effects are more pronounced as the dosage is increased. I had dosages from 25mg to 200mg. daily. Other reported effects are loss of libido, tightness in the chest, itching, irregular breathing, and irregular heartbeat. If you have any further questions, I'd be happy to respond based on my experience with the drug.
