doxycycline birth control

if I am taking the bith control pill tri springtec does the prescription doxycycline inter act with it.

I have been taking Doxycycline for over 2 years. I am also on birth control Minastrin 24 Fe. Since I have taken the antibiotic for two years due to having Hidrentis Suppurtiva, will my birth control be as effective as it says it will be? Or will it be less effective? Should I stop taking my Doxycycline because I haven't had a flare up in over a year?

I did not know at the time that this anti-biotic can interfere with your birth control. I had unprotected sex with my husband during this time. Now still using that patch, when I went to change the patch to the next one I guess I did not stick it good enough because it came off and then a day later my period began. Is there any chance that I could have gotten pregnant. I know that I have my period now but I am unsure of what happens when doxycline interfers with yoru birth control.

I've been on birth control(nexpanon) for about a year and a half now and since then I've had brown discharge only no periods my gynecologist told me it was because of the lining of my uterus shedding. this year in late Feb. or early Mar. i was prescribed to take doxycycline it stopped my brown discharge until about a week ago the brown discharge has returned. the last time i had unprotected sex was about a month ago so I'm concerned i might be pregnant.

re sure you used condoms but you also said there was a condom failure. If you do have a clinic or she could see a Dr she can get on some form of birth control. Using a condom every single time you have sex and also with your girlfriend being on birth control it's pretty much 100% guarantee that she will not get pregnant. This is if she is not already pregnant.

I'm taking doxycycline to help with my acne and I also know that birth control can help too. If I take these at the same time will it be dangerous?

I am on birth control pills (never really had a problem with them) and for the past few weeks I have been on 2 different antibiotics (Augmentin 875mg) and (Doxycycline 100mg) I am also supposedly positive for Lymes Disease. Hi i have been on birth control almost 6 months now. And i bleed for 2 weeks every period. The first week its just a brown mild red spotting because im still on birth control and then the second week when im on the brown pill is when i actually get the full on effect of my period. Today i got my period again and im still not done with my normal birth control so i decided to skip to the brown pills this week and start a new pack once my brown pills are done.

re all pregnant and all, but yesterday at my check up my doctor said I should start thinking about what kind of birth control I want after my baby girl is here. I've never been on birth control (and still did very well, baby was planned) what do you ladies suggest worked best for you? I don't want to worry about another baby for a long while at least a few years. And that implant that goes in your arm scares me.

Once you have your baby in the hospital can you ask the doctors to get you on birth control or Aleast get it started my mom is really aggy she talking about me getting my tubes tied which I don't wanna do I want the iud is it possible the doc can set me up on birth control or do I have to go somewhere else to do that

I was on the patch, ortho evra, it worked good I guess, I didn't end up pregnant again until I quit using it, I believe I gained weight on it though, its one of the side effects but I seem to be prone to gaining weight every time I'm on birth control.
