sneeze

Avatar n tn Sneezing dogs, this time of the year, is a sure sign of allergies (especially if they're fine throughout the rest of the year). What RedHed1973 said... Benadryl. We actually give ours the regular kind (non-drowsy of course). Works like a charm and stops the itchy skin, watery eyes, runny nose, eye boogers & sneezing. Late April through August is allergy season for our girls, so we stock up on Benadryl big time during those months!
973741 tn?1342342773 I had to put her in a kennel while we were on vacation and since being home, her little nose is et a good deal and she is sneezing and making little sniffly noises from her nose. She eats, drinks, plays and is fine. But was just wondering if she has a little cold?? I'm not so much worried but curious. I expect that if it is a virus, it will resolve and she'll be back to normal.
Avatar f tn s possible that he managed to inhale something and now it is stuck in his nose. Dogs have inhaled foxtails before and these can be very painful and actually need to be removed by the vet if they become stuck in the nostril. He could also have a simple case of allergies. It is September, and many of the fall plants that affect humans with allergies also affect dogs. Also, like humans, dogs can develop allergies at any time, even if they have never been affected by them before.
694466 tn?1227677802 Hi. My name is Kayla and I had a question about my dogs health. My dog recently got home from a kennel last weekend. Since then she has been sneezing when she gets excited or runs around too much. She also has been hacking. At first I thought it was kennel cough, but heartworm also seems to be a possibility. How can I tell which it is?
Avatar f tn So i have the common cold, sneezing, runny nose, itching throat, and coughing up mucus.... My dog sleeps with me every night, n i share most of my food with her, i just wonder if she will catch my cold??
480331 tn?1310403529 She is one of the most high-spirited dogs I have ever seen, loves to play, give kisses, etc...I have noticed when I kiss her nose or touch anywhere near her snout, she yelps in distress. I try to open her mouth to see if her gums are swollen, but all appears normal. Speifically the region around her nose seems to be very sensitive. Any idea or suggestion what may be wrong? Thank you!!
871111 tn?1248992972 I certainly see alot of pugs with allergies (to food or pollen/dust), usually with symptoms such as scratching, foot licking, recurrent skin rashes and recurrent ear infections, and less commonly sneezing and reverse sneezing. It is certainly possible that your pug has an allergic cause for the ear infection and the brown stains on the jaw.
Avatar f tn SHE HAS BEEN HAVING THESE SPELLS TO WHERE SHE ACTS LIKE SHE IS COUGHING BUT SHE DOES IT OUT OF HER NOSE AND MOUTH. YOU CAN SEE HER BODY KIND OF LIKE HEAVING OR CONVULSING. I TOOK HER TO MY VET AND THEY SAID SHE WAS REVERSE SNEEZING. HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS. HE ALSO SAID TO GIVE HER A HALF OF A BENEDRYL. WHAT DO YOU THINK SHE GOES TO THE VET REGULARY AND IS UPDATED ON ALL SHOTS AND TREATMENTS SHE SOMETIMES HAS ALLERGIES. LAST NIGHT THIS EPISODE LASTED ABOUT 1 MINUTE IT WAS VERY SCARY.
Avatar f tn I was VERY interested in the vet saying he could hear congestion in his nose... which goes with reverse sneezing. I was also interested in the report that the dog licks a lot. Well, our dog is blowing his coat at an unexpected time because we had balmy weather when normal is very cold this time of year. He licks his coat, of course, all the time, and we do our best to keep up with the big white clumps of fur coming off him.
Avatar m tn I do suffer with seasonal allergies from pollen etc... but I dont have any other allergy type symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, running nose, congestion, etc...My question is, can one have sinus problems due to say pet dander and allergies without all the other typical allergy symptoms? Usually I experience much more than headaches or pressure.
641243 tn?1235752084 There are so many reasons your dog could be having a nose bleed. The excessive sneezing episode that you mention could have caused a small blood vessel to break or it could just be from an allergy as you stated also. He has been through alot recently. You haven't said how old Wentworth is but judging from his picture he does not look to be up there in age but you never know. Retrievers get nose bleeds alot it seems.
3170462 tn?1344717552 Three years ago, my husband and I adopted two cats. They're brothers, Alvin and Simon, and were a year old when we got them. Before they came to our home, they lived with a friend who runs a Second Chance operation from her home. She found them as kittens (mum was killed by a possum) and weaned them. Both cats were well treated. When we first took them, our friend mentioned that Alvin had started sneezing. We didn't think anything of it. Cats sneeze.
Avatar m tn I see a lot of people attributing the reactions people are experiencing from us is from a medical standpoint, like odor and bacteria. But has anyone here not thought about the possibility that people do 'fake' coughing and sneezing as a way to try to tell you or people around them something? Like, a form of non-verbal judgement? I always get the implication or vibe that people cough or sneeze to judge me.
Avatar f tn Now our Cain Corso Mastiff/Pit Bull is sneezing blood from his nose too and lots of it. What can be going on. I walk him on a leash in my own yard as well. It seems too much of a coincidence to be one that both dogs have experienced this within a week of each other.
Avatar f tn Im 10 weeks and sneezing like crazy lol
Avatar n tn Thanks for the help. Both Pekingese and Pugs have short noses, but if your vet is correct about this "choking" being due to having a short nose, then these dogs should be "choking" constantly and not just once in a while. I'll bring him to my vet and I'll post back with what she says.
Avatar n tn Hello, These allergy symptoms that trouble you are due to allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis is a collection of symptoms, predominantly in the nose and eyes, caused by airborne particles of dust, dander, or plant pollens in people who are allergic to these substances. Although many antihistaminics and decongestants are there but every drug has its own interactions with the different antihypertensives.
Avatar f tn The pigment in my 2 year old dogs nose is fading, his nose was jet black now it has a pink hue to it, is this normal?
Avatar f tn *sneezing. Does anyone else have this problem?
Avatar f tn They have many names for it, but lots of women report having sneezing, stuffy nose, etc symptoms. All the extra blood can swell your sinuses and make you sneeze! Sneezing constantly has been my only prego symptom, thankfully, but yes it is kind of crazy. My office says I'm allergic to work now. Ha!
1499174 tn?1327231194 my nose hasnt itched yet. im 4 weeks 3 days. ive just been sneezing ALOT for the past couple days lol and i mean alot!
Avatar m tn Have you started sneezing yet? Wait until you start sneezing. This is my 3rd and by far most successful shot at getting clean from a 3 year oxy addiction and I've been sneezing for 55 consecutive days. Each sneeze has been a different flavor. You will smell things that you never thought possible. I've smelled the entire solar system. Dogs, caribous and even Caligulia are jealous of me. The thing is....it's normal or so I'm told.
Avatar f tn Omg. I'm 23.5 weeks and I sneeze all day everyday! From what I'm told iy doesn't stop until the baby is born. I actually just read your post to my boyfriend and we had to laugh. I'm sorry it's no fun! My doctor told me I could take medicine for it and I took it for a few days and it didn't do anything so I stopped taking it. I guess since your nose is so much more sensitive you are prone to super allergies even if you've never had allergies before!
Avatar f tn This was never happend to me before, when I sneezed a mucus with blood and when I search it in google, others said that if you sneezed a mucus with blood, you must stop blowing your nose. Is it true?
Avatar f tn t realize it caused sneezing too! Was working outside the other day and kept sneezing so hard my knit cap would fall off!
