I'm not sure if there's any rhyme or reason behind it in relation to detoxing but I've kept hard candies and chocolate on-hand daily. Hey, keep brushing your teeth and flossing and substituting candy for pills seems okay in my opinion:)!
Avatar n tn Some children will accept whole milk if you add chocolate or strawberry flavor mix to it. If that does not work and she likes soy milk, then give her soy milk (has the same amount of calcium as in regular milk). Hoped this helped you.

Avatar f tn I find that one or 2 bites, often satisfies the craving, so I can put the rest of the bar away for another time. I do keep a Hershey chocolate bar in the fridge and if I really want chocolate, which isn't often, I'll eat a square.

1406964 tn?1283203866 You are right. There have been quite a few studies on this. However, they claim it is the dark chocolate that does the trick and I don't like it. When I eat chocolate I like creamy milk chocolate and I don't care if it is good or bad for me, it is darn good!!
Avatar n tn It may not work for you, but my urologist told be to take benedryl. She said that somehow the antihistimine helped reduce the spasms (and hence the pain). I didn't like the possible side effects of the other choices so I tried it. Now whenever I feel the spasms starting, I take benedryl at night for a few days. It works for me. maybe ask your doctor about it. Another observation I had was when I drank several carbonated/caffinated drinks, the symptoms worsened dramactically.

I don't eat red meat, but have protein in my diet in the form of yogurt, cheese, soy milk and nuts. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I don't work out or take creatine supplements.

Plus I have been looking for a fiber supplement since i'm so IBS-C screwed up..so flaxseed is a great idea. I was doing eggs for breakfast but I'll avoid all possible food groups, maybe it's eggs *shrugs* but I missed something..hopefully i'll figure it out. Anyway thank you for that response!

But if you go to the Asian section, they sell cans of coconut milk that does not have carrageenan in it and is really good! I have been using that in my coffee and also adding a little bit to my smoothies to give it a more creamy taste.

Tomorrow I'll start over trying to have a good diet day and hopefully it'll be day 2 of a good diet week. That's about all you can do.

Well, just recently started taking her vitamins that her doctor suggested due to abnornal blood work. Last week is when she lost the weight, and this past week, she has gained 6 pounds. Low and behold, the CoQ10 has soy in it! She also has very coarse hair and acne on her forehead which she never had before.
Avatar f tn Why does she have to drink the milk you can get the nutrients from other foods, I suggest you get her eating , perhaps if you dont try so much she will drink it if you want her to, but maybe she doesnt like the taste of milk.Make sure her diet has yoghorts, cheese, fruit, veg, beans, rice, pasta, eggs, if you are so concerned she gets milk how about puddings, rice, tapioca, stir the milk into .

So, I entrusted a supportive coworker with the bag and I could have 2 pieces a day. What was really neat .. is I found out I didn't need or want them each day .. and that was a victory! May I suggest that you do the homework assignments (1-4), make copies of the list and keep it with you.
Avatar n tn s chocolate you crave, make sure you have dark chocolate on hand, rather than milk chocolate. Dark chocolate (88% cacao) is actually good for you, whereas milk chocolate is not.

268911 tn?1213744781 i agree with you. most of us with anxiety know to stay away from caffeine and foods that contain suger. i try to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. i don't eat meat or drink milk, i drink soy milk. and i try to buy organic when i can. i think alot of people are becoming more aware of what's going on with our food supply. it's a shame that it's going on at all. take care.
