1950518 tn?1333223465 i had two babies and no stretch marks. I used oil, i believe cocoa butter does not work. More like shea butter does..! Use oil like almond oil, and be consistant. You may get some but you can prevent them from being really bad!
1123156 tn?1338866969 I am very lucky to have a SIL who is an estitician working at a place that does all that. I already told her if I get stretch marks I will be in for laser treatments.

162948 tn?1205256292 I had the mirena in for about 13 months & had it removed end of august to try to get pregnant. I had thought it was more immediate. I found out it can take 3-6 months for your cycle to return. my husband and I are pretty bummed because we would have removed it earlier (or never had it put in). Anyway, I bled a few days after removal (probably due to the removal) & then nothing until a couple days of brown spotting at the beginning of this month.
Avatar n tn I am 60 years old, a +7 farsighted, and have cataracts that qualify for removal based on glare. The Dr. initial recommendation is a bilateral Restor which is different than his normal recommendation. His recommendation seems to be based on ensuring that my reading vision is satisfactory given my high degree of farsightedness. He will start with an implant in the non-dominant eye.
Avatar n tn I have a large skin tag on the outside opening and I really want it gone. Does the wart remover really work or any of the natural ones that they sell online? It has caused a lot of pain and discomfort not to mention feeling self-conscious about it. I have tried the string but it cut into my skin and made me more sore and it bled. At first it was turning blue but then the next day it looked more pink again. The string was still tight was it seemed to be swelling. Did I do something wrong?
748543 tn?1463449675 For the past few weeks I have been throwing around ideas as to the best way to respond to this matter. You see a recent article ( Feb.3 , 2009 NY times) titled "Best treatment for TMJ May be Nothing" nearly made me clench my jaw to pieces. While well written, I found that the author, Ms. Brody, relied heavily on out dated and narrow perspective supplied to her by a small group of dentists.
Avatar m tn Ari H, can you share the name of the clinic in Israel? Does the clinic use laser assisted surgery? Have they had much experience with the Symfony? Did you consider micro monovision for the non dominant eye to help with near vision?
Avatar n tn Its even more embarassing when i want to get intimate with a guy....pls help! Does bleaching cream work?
Avatar n tn I went to my doctors today and he finally has said he is going to go in tomorrow and see what is there and remove anything he finds. I feel so stupid and uneducated about what this really is and what does to a person. I wish there was some way to make it all go away. I feel for you and wish you the best of luck. I am just now finding that the rest of my life I am always going to wonder when this is going to hurt again, and from the things I am seeing on the net it is very scarry.
Avatar n tn I am 49. Used to work out a ton but stopped so it is good to hear that it happens to those that still work out. It has to be hormonal? UGH UGH UGH. Loose skin even though I have always had thin arms. Is it lack of estrogen? Will hormone replacement drugs make it tighten up? Please post if you find out!
Avatar f tn My mom had something similar and went in to have it removed. She has a tiny scar, but is glad it is gone. I don't know what caused it. Her procedure was outpatient, so she went home the same day.
Avatar f tn they did a biopsy shortly after i did this post, and nothing specific came back. i've had it treated w/ medication (pills and topical) and also laser and it'll seem to look a little better for a few days but then i'm almost to square 1. it just will not seem to heal. just today they decided to do a second biopsy, because they also find it odd and worrisome. they did diagnose me with rosacea b/c in general i am very pink with capillaries close to the skin.
Avatar n tn hmmmm, I see, how long has this blah, blah, here's another pill, oh it doesn't work, here's another, doesn't work, up the dosage, blah blah". What the hell? I'm 38 and feel like I'm 78.
Avatar m tn The Flip-Turn Sinus Flush (by friggy) removes infected mucus from every part of your sinuses, which Mayo Clinic research shows is the cure for sinusitis, rather than treating sinus tissue with antibiotics. Regular saline irrigation does not work in the upper sinuses, because of gravity, but the Sinus Flush defeats gravity. It is effective with bacterial and viral infections, and some but not all fungal infections. The Flip-Turn is the original, and still the best Sinus Flush. WARNING!
Avatar n tn I'm very worried because i have recentley developed a painfull lump close between my vagina and my butt. I have described it to my parents and they seem to think its a boil. I am fourteen and not sexually active so i'm not worried about an std etc. I'm just freaking out because it has been there for three days so far and there is no head. I have also been missing out on school which isnt good as i am doing internal and externals this year. I can barely walk or sit and its bringing me to tears.

Avatar n tn I wonder if laser hair removal is an option. At this point, I'd go for that if it would stop these painful lumps.
Avatar n tn if you didn't have hcg shot then you are ok to test we test 9 days post transfer at my res and HPTs work soon.
Avatar n tn Hello, This is an extremely helpful site. Juan- Have you had a toxicology work up? There is a company named NeuroScience that does an in depth work up. It looks like it would be worth it to just have some peace of mind. I don't work for NeuroScience but work for a Physical Rehabilitation Practitioner who relays heavily on this company. Insurance companies don't pay for this but I found it has been benificial to many of our patients.
Avatar n tn With regard to EK being linked to stress, I think that it may be as I have had this condition for about 15 years, and it started when I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid, my hands used to get very sweaty, 18 months later I had a partial thyroid removal and still the condition persisted. Sometimes in the winter it does improve for a week or two, but as I am now prone to feeling the cold, I tend to wear gloves which keep my hands warm and so it starts up again.
Avatar n tn hi, sorry that you had to join us here, but glad you found us. What did the neurologist say about polyneuropathy? recovery time? any instructions for follow-up? did you get any meds? Seriously think about going to a naturopath for extra health support, get someone to call and drive you there. Also, go see your medical doctor if you feel that you have worsened. I got the flu shots on Nov 5th and there have been days that I felt that I went "backwards" and then I would improve again.
Avatar f tn From time to time, this everyday level of tremor can increase so that it becomes more noticeable. Occasional noticeable tremor is common in people of all ages, and very common in older people, and does not necessarily mean that you have any sort of medical condition. It can be caused by tiredness, stress, anxiety, or anger. A raised level of adrenalin in your body, which can happen when you become excited or angry, can often cause a noticeable tremor.
940391 tn?1255758976 So, here I am freaking out because not only do I have those nodules, I also have incredible off/on bone pain (arthritis?), headaches (everybody does?), off/on low grade fever (cold I can't shake?), total exhaustion (working too much?), I also have this off/on hacking cough (my asthma?) & off/on hoarseness to the point where I lose my voice for a bit, then it goes back to normal! So, I'm pretty much freakn out... Just needed to vent! Life still goes on while I wait for the verdict...
472570 tn?1274689487 I experimented for at least a year but now it is to the point where it is non-existent in my house. I cannot guarantee you it will work for you, but I will tell you what I did. work for you but it did for me. I have to also say I have a pet as well. I used to always feel them crawling on my legs, and face; my legs are hairy and when I shaved them, it was better, the reason you feel them on your face at night is because they live in your hair and come out when you lay down at night.
393685 tn?1425816122 the rest is history for now after a partial thyroidectomy with two benign nodules removed and then finding two very small micro papillary cancers elsewhere in the gland that are now gone. The other side never began to work again, so I'm on Synthroid for the cancer supression as well as to live. It took a good 10mos to get the meds sorted out and then just this Winter I had a severe Vit D deficiency which is doing much better now.
