I was on biaxin for that purpose (along with another med to kill the bugs after they came out of the cyst), but had a reaction to it after several months; so the dr switched me to flagyl and a different antibiotic. It's a fair question why the dr would give you two cyst busters. Sounds like a lot. Good luck with the new job!! Sounds like a good one.

When does Alprazolam expire? I noticed there is no expiration date printed on the prescription bottle. I've asked the pharmasist who filled the prescription on two separate occassions; but, recieved two different answers. The first answer was: ' One year after the perscription was filled'. The later answer was: 'Two years after the prescription was filled.' So that leaves me with not knowing which one to go by. The prescription was filled 10 and 1/2 months ago.

I was on Biaxin alone for 3mos and felt semi normal which for me is great. LLMD added Doxy and it has made all my symptoms come back worse than before. I want to quit the doxy but im told to just ride it out. I am wondering what exactly Doxy helps with? I kno biaxin helps with Bartonella for example. But what does Doxy do exactly for someone with late stage chronic lyme?

Saw my LLMD in San Francisco on Friday and he said that my Erlichoisis is cleared but wants me to stay on my meds (Ketek & Cipro) for another 30 days. My testing for lyme is still coming up positive and there were more positive bands and stronger ones than my last test three months ago. He said that the meds I'm currently are on do not treat lyme. After this course of meds, I am switching to Amox & Biaxin to begin treating the lyme. My CD57 shot up from like 20 to 87 though!

I know this was foolish, but I had panicked. 5 days later I developed an infected ingrown hair at the base of my penis. As I understand Methadone is broken down by an enzyme which is greatly retarded by Clairithromycin, this ay cause an overdose to occur in the user. my neck not that stiff anymore, and the rash does not look like the typical meningitis rash; sent home but after getting one toradol injection that took away my pain for a few hours. Since then I learned that the NSAIDs helped me I have continued to take them as ibuprofen to function some during the day. Prinmary Dr put me on Biaxin due to blood work taken at hospital showing normal WBC count but slightly elevated neutrophils and more decreased lymphocytes.
