Avatar m tn Am glad you found this place!!! I take Ester C, B-12 and B-6 daily. That seems to work really well for me. Good for you on stopping the pills and getting your life back.........Welcome aboard!!!!
Avatar f tn I just found out I'm expecting last night!! Yay!! Super excited. I called my ob/ gyn doctor for appointment this morning but they won't have any openings until 1 week and a half from now but I want to start taking prenatal vitamins so I can be taking something. What vitamins do y'all recommend. I'm 24 yrs old. :) Thank you.
5002615 tn?1366014009 Calimomma why do you have to get shots? The pills didn't work for you?
1288945 tn?1271972452 I don't take liquid vitamins but I still use chewables. The BEST ones I have found for me are the "Children's GUMMY multivitamin". They're called up&up (I bought them at Target). 4-6 a day and it figures out to the daiy requirements for adults. I tolerate the sugar content in them (2 gms for 2 gummy bears) and I had my surgery 9 months ago. I've been taking them for the past 6 months at least.
Avatar n tn Anything to do instead of the prenatal vitamins? I hate taking pills and I always forget. I wish they had chewables. Thanx for any replies!
Avatar n tn My vitamins made me really nauseous with my first pregnancy, I just switched to taking them right before bed, instead of in the morning. Helped A LOT, good luck!
4444857 tn?1383325813 t take pills I have to do liquid..
544292 tn?1268882668 Desperate mentioned vitamins. I do believe they are key to a successful recovery. Take them twice a day. The Thomas recipe and the Amino Acid protocol are two good starting places. Find them in the Health Pages on the top right of page.
12162520 tn?1426012596 My vitamins were making me really nauseous and I would just throw up so my doctor told me I could switch to the Flintstones gummy instead you should ask if you can too
Avatar f tn I want to switch my prenatal vitamins and was wondering does it matter if they both have the same vitamins in them
Avatar f tn Yeah if u can't keep down the prenatal vitamins just buy the gummies vitamins its pretty much the same thing and a lot easier than trying to keep down the prenatal vitamins.
Avatar f tn Mine just say to take with liquid. I don't think it really matters.
442658 tn?1563386491 I hope I dont feel like this forever. Have you been taking any vitamins? I know they are really bad for you, but I drink alot of energy drinks and they help me so much. I guess they are better than the alternative... :) I take liquid B12 vitamin also. There are so many vitamins you can take along with excersise, that will help you with your energy..... Hope you feel better soon!
Avatar f tn I went back to vegetarian ones in liquid form, but the taste makes it hard to keep down. Do you guys have any suggestions for other ones I should try? I'm desperate and I want my baby to be healthy. I'm vegetarian but I'm willing to have non-veg ones (no fish pil though since it makes me sick).
Avatar f tn -) very gentle on tummy bc they are liquid gels and my pb was very happy and impressed with my choice on those she said they are a great brand :-)
Avatar f tn You need to take a prenatal. And you cannot take one w/o iron. Most gummies do not have iron that's bad! Take nature made liquid gels with dha. Liquid geeks are so much easier on your stomach and easier to digest. And never the on an empty stomach. Wait till like after dinner to take them. Im sry butvi can't figure out y some ppl are stupid about vitamins. That want in reference to the one who posted this either. But seriously ppl you have to take your vitamins.
Avatar f tn No. Candy doesn't make for a good vitamin. Most drugstore vitamins don't use the most assimilable form of nutrients. Unfortunately, to do natural medicine reliably isn't cheap.
765070 tn?1384869794 So, I was wondering if anyone has ever used the liquid prenatal vitamins. I have read that they are gentle on the stomach but wasn't sure if they work as good or if they have chewable prenatal vitamins. It has been 11 years since I had my last baby and they did not have anything else but pill form so need some suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
