Is it normal for the prenatal vitamins to make your stomach feel like butterflies?

Or try nature made liquid gels they are great I love them. I a day no chewing they are liquid gels so much easier on tummy and easier to digest.

I called my ob/ gyn doctor for appointment this morning but they won't have any openings until 1 week and a half from now but I want to start taking prenatal vitamins so I can be taking something. I don't take liquid vitamins but I still use chewables. The BEST ones I have found for me are the "Children's GUMMY multivitamin". They're called up&up (I bought them at Target). 4-6 a day and it figures out to the daiy requirements for adults. I tolerate the sugar content in them (2 gms for 2 gummy bears) and I had my surgery 9 months ago. I've been taking them for the past 6 months at least.

Anything to do instead of the prenatal vitamins? I hate taking pills and I always forget. I wish they had chewables. Thanx for any replies!

Yeah if u can't keep down the prenatal vitamins just buy the gummies vitamins its pretty much the same thing and a lot easier than trying to keep down the prenatal vitamins.

Mine just say to take with liquid. I don't think it really matters.

I guess they are better than the alternative... :) I take liquid B12 vitamin also. There are so many vitamins you can take along with excersise, that will help you with your energy..... I went back to vegetarian ones in liquid form, but the taste makes it hard to keep down. Do you guys have any suggestions for other ones I should try? I'm desperate and I want my baby to be healthy. I'm vegetarian but I'm willing to have non-veg ones (no fish pil though since it makes me sick).

You need to take a prenatal. And you cannot take one w/o iron. Most gummies do not have iron that's bad! Take nature made liquid gels with dha. Liquid geeks are so much easier on your stomach and easier to digest. And never the on an empty stomach. Wait till like after dinner to take them. No. Candy doesn't make for a good vitamin. Most drugstore vitamins don't use the most assimilable form of nutrients. Unfortunately, to do natural medicine reliably isn't cheap.

So, I was wondering if anyone has ever used the liquid prenatal vitamins. I have read that they are gentle on the stomach but wasn't sure if they work as good or if they have chewable prenatal vitamins. It has been 11 years since I had my last baby and they did not have anything else but pill form so need some suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
