How soon are you able to file for child support ?
What are yall views on child support? My childs father and i arent together anymore and im gonna be raising my baby alone basically. But he doesnt make that much money. Would it be wrong to even take the little bit of money he does have to help me with my baby. I mean, i didnt climb on top of myself and get pregnant.
I need to share my story and hopefully get some suggestions and support and wisdom out there. I recently turned 50. I my early 40's I suffered a series of losses in a short period of time - lost my dad, my mom, best friend from college, my sister had three brain tumors (3 separate operations and survived) my father in law, miscarriage, financial, etc. I never grieved all these losses, just pushed it inside so I could function. I wound up drinking to get thru the pain and became alcoholic.
That is ridiculous. I've had a similar situation. Before I get into it do you have receipts for the taxes and rent you pay? If so you can take them to court. It would also help if you got a recording of her saying it's because your pregnant.
We lived in my husband's mother's old place she couldn't make payments. His brother took over. Anyhow, his brother decided to move and left the place 3 months behind then she lied and said the payments for the house went up.
Perhaps, but I would see a lawyer first. Child-support payments are nothing to whistle down the wind just because you're mad at the jerk for acting like a miser. This *is* his kid, after all, and whether or not he would like to write him off because he wants to save a few bucks, he has the legal obligation of support until the child is no longer a minor. That money will make a difference in the child's quality of life (even if contact with his father won't).
Find your inner strength and come out fighting!! It is very hard and you will want to give up, but find your support and hang on tight to them. Surrond yourself with people that will cheer you on and not bring you more stress!!

his ex warned him to never have kids with me or else she will make the payments go up... does she have power to do that? in pa wont his supports payments be reduced if he and i have a child? im so stressed about this girl.. i dont want to get involved but my income alone will not support us!!!
During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.

Let him know that pregnancy is hard on a woman and you need all the support and understanding you can get. Stress and unhappiness will do no good for your baby. And your baby is your miracle together so it's living proof that you guys love each other and that's why you're married! As you progress in pregnancy, things might be more and more uncomfortable for you and having a loving support is so important. My husband never argues with me... he makes sure I'm well taken care of.
It has been about 10 months now and I still get over the eevnts )seperation/divorce and all the ramifications that go along with it. I never wanted this and being the recipient of the divorce makes it so much harder. I am deperessed and lack confidence. It doesn't seem to get better, I try to trick myself sometimes, but it doesn't always work. The bottom line is that I still love my wife (ex) very much.

The consult usually costs about $250. If her husband was the bread winner an attorney can file for some support until the divorce is final. Also will be able to tell her if they can make the husband pay her attorney fees. It would probably be worth it just to get some initial advise. When children are involved it's almost impossible to do it without legal advise.

I have a 13 month old and me and my bf are kind of all each other have as far as friends go. I went through a divorce a few years ago and everyone we knew together took his side so i dont talk to or see anyone anymore. Lately I've been craving company that isnt my bf or his mom or my daughter but its so hard to meet new people and make friends. Anyone else in this situation? How did you make / meet new friends?
That's good to hear that he is paying child support, so that can't be an issue holding up the divorce then. Maybe the alimony situation is unresolved?
I don't understand how you think if he can't see or talk to his kids now, that that will change after the divorce? Maybe your fiancé needs to put that inn order in the divorce, that he have visitation rights to his children, that's if he wants to keep up a good relationship with them.
