I have a 13 month old and me and my bf are kind of all each other have as far as friends go. I went through a divorce a few years ago and everyone we knew together took his side so i dont talk to or see anyone anymore. Lately I've been craving company that isnt my bf or his mom or my daughter but its so hard to meet new people and make friends. Anyone else in this situation? How did you make / meet new friends?
I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.
It has been about 10 months now and I still get over the eevnts )seperation/divorce and all the ramifications that go along with it. I never wanted this and being the recipient of the divorce makes it so much harder. I am deperessed and lack confidence. It doesn't seem to get better, I try to trick myself sometimes, but it doesn't always work. The bottom line is that I still love my wife (ex) very much.
I need to share my story and hopefully get some suggestions and support and wisdom out there. I recently turned 50. I my early 40's I suffered a series of losses in a short period of time - lost my dad, my mom, best friend from college, my sister had three brain tumors (3 separate operations and survived) my father in law, miscarriage, financial, etc. I never grieved all these losses, just pushed it inside so I could function. I wound up drinking to get thru the pain and became alcoholic.
During an argument with my husband he said he will move out of state and not be in my child's life. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I have recently calmly asked him if he meant it and he said yes. He does not want drama and thinks that I will turn our child against him. That is a complete lie I have never once said anything degrading humiliating or hurtful about my husband to anyone no matter how angry I was or hurt.
I completly understand were you are coming from I am in the same boat. I do the same things. I would love to chat more sometime as we defently have a lot of the same problems. I hope this has help in some way. You are not alone . I am here too.
When my son was born in 2012, I fought for his sperm donor to pay child support. A year later he was summoned to pay it but has not made the first payment. He is a dead beat who has no job and lives with his mom and dad and he is 30 something years old. We got married when I was 18 and while I was pregnant I left him because I was scared for my son's safety because needless to say he couldn't keep his hands to himself.
1 year old daughter with him. Ive been tellig him alot lately that all he does is be on his phone or chat with his old "female" friend that they just got in contact again i guess. And idk if is my hormones but am feeling extremly depress and can't stop crying. We just moved to PA last summer and i have noone to talk to and he decides to leave to ny this morning and been out all day. I cried my butt of on the phone and he seemed to turn it around on him.
Don't let anyone ruin this for you. I'm on my fourth and as I told ppl I said, if u have anything negative keep it to yourself! I'm not going to let anyone's opinion bother me!

having trouble sleeping. also cry alot had bad year with divorce. other problems been thinking bad thoughts try to commit suicide 7 times in past scared i might try again.

i wish i had someone has anyone watched the show intervention man i just want to shake my family and ask why the hell they havent loved me enough to notice everyone says things but they are all too afraid because they think they are responsible anyway i never have had anyone take care of me and through the years ive been at points in my life that were truly defining and i'm at that point once again ive left the man that broke me down for years and am once again ready to turn my life around
He needs to cut the apron strings from mommy cuz thats ridiculous to be talking to her so much. He needs to get off the damn chat and take care of you and his kids. If she is like my mother in law she may be the problem as to why he is not involved. my mom n law is super jealous and gets jealous that hubby makes a point to make me number 1 and always go to appointments etc. My hubby dont let it effect us and thats what your man needs to do!
