I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.

t seen an actual OB since the birth of my son 10 yrs ago. I mentioned the idea of having a baby to my primary care physician and he rolled his eyes and said "good luck." I really don't care what he (or anyone) thinks, but do want to be sure that any OB that I do work with will be supportive and encouraging at every step. How do you go about finding the "right" OB who is going to be nothing but supportive?
