I need to share my story and hopefully get some suggestions and support and wisdom out there. I recently turned 50. I my early 40's I suffered a series of losses in a short period of time - lost my dad, my mom, best friend from college, my sister had three brain tumors (3 separate operations and survived) my father in law, miscarriage, financial, etc. I never grieved all these losses, just pushed it inside so I could function. I wound up drinking to get thru the pain and became alcoholic.
Let him know that pregnancy is hard on a woman and you need all the support and understanding you can get. Stress and unhappiness will do no good for your baby. And your baby is your miracle together so it's living proof that you guys love each other and that's why you're married! As you progress in pregnancy, things might be more and more uncomfortable for you and having a loving support is so important. My husband never argues with me... he makes sure I'm well taken care of.

I will not try to force him to be in her life because it will bring her more pain and confusion growing up I rather be the mom and dad to her by myself. When my son was born in 2012, I fought for his sperm donor to pay child support. A year later he was summoned to pay it but has not made the first payment. He is a dead beat who has no job and lives with his mom and dad and he is 30 something years old. We got married when I was 18 and while I was pregnant I left him because I was scared for my son's safety because needless to say he couldn't keep his hands to himself.
This summer, in August, I quit opiates. I was taking massive amounts of Tussionex every day. Since then, I went thirty days without using. Recently, I have relapsed alsmost every two weeks. I will go without for two weeks and relapse again for the next two weeks. Except now, I relapse with norco 10/325 pills. Today is my first day coming off of a three week binder. I am getting divorced right now, so everything seems really messed up.
As he is upset by the Divorce it is proably just a way of acting out, his Mom should ask him why he did it and tell him that it is not permitted,this is common in Chldren who are frustrated, tell your Cousin to get him involved in Games and Pysical activitys and give him plenty of care and extra Attention.
Everything was going fine, but the court keeps rescheduling the date of oour hearing for a later and later and later date, and now I found out that if my son is born within 90 days after the divorce, he is legally considered a product of the marriage.
I got another letter in the mail today saying my hearing has been pushed back AGAIN until the end of July. No explanation as to why.
I'm so frustrated and stressed out, and I just want this to be over with.
The forum is what has helped me to blossom and believe it was possible to get and stay clean.. The support and friendships I have made on here have endeared me.. I have been here almost 2 years and I plan I staying as everyday I need to maintain my recovery. It has been about 10 months now and I still get over the eevnts )seperation/divorce and all the ramifications that go along with it. I never wanted this and being the recipient of the divorce makes it so much harder. I am deperessed and lack confidence. It doesn't seem to get better, I try to trick myself sometimes, but it doesn't always work. The bottom line is that I still love my wife (ex) very much.
Depression can be very hard on partners, family members and friends. You sound like a very caring person and you do need support also for yourself.
Try to find a support group in your city that offers support for people living with a depressed person. I think this would really help you to talk with other people who are going through what you are.
Remember that your partner does not want to feel this way. I'm sure he would love to be rid of this depression. .
We both have other priorities though- me with sorting out my divorce and taking care of my son, he has a ten year old son and is finishing his master's degree. Back 14 years ago we had an intense connection but it was never physical. Even though we are older (Im 30, hes 31) that spark is still strongly there. We are trying to keep it in perspective and not get too serous right now for obvious reasons. We are also trying to be very discreet when we see each other.
m in Aussie and when I applied for a divorce it was pretty straight forward and it went through in about 4 months. My paperwork was pretty straight forward though, there were no custodial issues with kids or pending court orders or anything like that, and I guess until things are straightened out in that area it may cause setbacks and take more time.
The fact is through the highly emotional period of separation and divorce I have cried sometimes when I am alone with my kids and twice this occurred during low glucose levels with one of the times my older boy got me food, ice cream. (The other time I got food myself.) We were at Cedar Point and I was waiting for the ride with them when my glucose was going down at the same time I realized that the last time we were here as a family which got me sad.
m going through a much needed divorce, it should be final in September when I get my divorce decree. The DF and I are living here in Iowa as of now, but as soon as my divorce is final I am wanting to move back home to Michigan. However moving costs a lot of money these days, especially when moving out of state. I don't know what would be best for my family at this point.
I am on meds just started Abilify today. She goes to the doc with me. She expresses what I do and her views are like night and day to mine. She resents that I don't work and she is the bread winner and in the past i used drugs to hide my pain and my pride. I only straighten up when she threatens divorce. Then I see what I have done. I ask her to point it out to me and she's tired of doing that. She doesn't have a life.
I do know that in the state of Florida if you're married, your baby gets your husbands last name.. But! If you can prove you've been separated then it may change the circumstances a little. Have you filed for a divorce and it's in motion?
