Hello. This is the info I have on lemon juice to dissolve small kidney stones. Drinking four ounces of reconstituted lemon juice in two liters of water per day. Try that. 1 Tablespoon is an ounce, so 4 Tablespoons of lemon juice in water over the course of the day. I don't know what dose of Vitamin C you take but high doses should be avoided as they are associated with the most common type of kidney stone formation. The amount in your multi vitamin probably is not a high dose.
I have had people say that drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice with water will help to dissolve kidney stones. I do drink lots of water and water with fresh lemon juice (freshly squeezed) and do notice that when I get kidney pain and start to drink the lemon water, I do notice more sediment in the urine. I had x-rays showing I had a small kidney stone proximately 2 mm in my upper left kidney. I had some signs of blood in my urine now are four months down the road and every once in a while, I will still show blood in my urine and I don’t know if I’ve ever passed the stone. What I can say something about that I know is having two stones, each 5mm, with one in each kidney. Yes, they could each be causing you pain, but having shoulder pain from kidney stones is something I have never experienced. I have always had pain, some very severe pain, in my kidney area on either side, but that pain has never traveled to my shoulders. That's covering many years and many stones for me personally too.
