6023422 tn?1378419035 how long is it normal to spot during the first trimester of pregnancy? im going on 2 days on and off?
Avatar f tn There is always a chance of getting pregnant with condoms/birth control/ etc. Nothing is guaranteed. Some women do bleed during the first trimester of their pregnancy. I would take a test just in case. Some women will continue to bleed around the time of their period through part of or through their entire pregnancy. Like I said just take a test to be safe!
Avatar n tn It's totally normal to have discharge. Especially during the first trimester. It'll get better during the second trimester then worse again during the third. And ever since I've been pregnant I've been peeing constantly. Lol.
691236 tn?1311199974 I have been feeling so good-never had any morning symptoms or anything during all of first trimester so maybe it is just catching up to me now! I have finally been released from our RE to my OBGYN and I see him on Wed so I will ask him. I am feeling much better today though. Congrats to you on your pregnancy and good luck to you!!!
Avatar f tn I am 27 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I have experienced fluid dripping during my first trimester for several times. It's like 5-6 drops of white fluid leaking at once. The fluid itself has no smell. I am afraid it may be amniotic fluid. Is it common? What should I do?
Avatar f tn I'm 7 weeks into my first pregnancy and I'm still feeling very nauseous. Plus, I have to force myself to eat for my baby. Does the sick feeling go away? Help!
94902 tn?1330479667 I had similar spotting during my first pregnancy and now have a healthy 7 year old. This time at 6 weeks I haven't had any spotting at all and no nausea so far. I guess it's true what they say that every pregnancy is different. Spotting is normal early on.
1054108 tn?1314298660 Has anyone was treated for bacterial vaginosis infection or yeast infection during first trimester? What medicine is safe to take for treating these two infections during 12w of pregnancy? My OB has prescribed me fluconazole 150 mg (one tablet only) for yeast infection and metronidazole 500 mg (to take for seven days) to treat bacterial vagnosis infection. She said it is safe however I am still hesitating. Please I need your advices.
Avatar f tn I had brown and bright red blood off and on during my first trimester. Doctor said I really only should be worried if there is clumps followed by cramping.
Avatar f tn Blood tinge discharge after intercourse during pregnancy is quite normal. Don't get alarmed unless there is a significant amount of bleeding or if you begin expelling clots. I say inform your OB GYN at your next visit as well. CONGRATS AND GOOD LUK TO YOU!!!
Avatar f tn Hi ladies, is it safe to have regular intimacy with your partner during the first trimester? And are there some changes or precautions I should take? Thank you guys in advance!
Avatar f tn Technically, bleeding during pregnancy is never considered normal and should always be reported to your OB. If it's just light/spotting, it can wait until your next appointment. If it is a bit heavier, or there are clots and cramping, give them a call. All that being said, lots of us have experienced bleeding during pregnancy, particularly in first trimester. Statistically it's about 30% of women. Most of the time everything is just fine. Still, best to let your Dr. know about it.
Avatar f tn I had small stomach cramps my entire first trimester but i had that with my first pregnancy as well so i knew it wasn't anything bad but if yours are really hurting you and your heart rate is up I'd call your birthing center if your Dr's office isn't open.
Avatar f tn This is my first pregnancy and I'm in the second trimester and have been experiencing very painful cramping since before I found out I was pregnant. The doctor had said it was growing pains but should be gone by the end of the first trimester. I'm still having these pains. What could it be?
Avatar f tn has anyone taken antibiotics in the first trimester? im only 7.5 weeks and my doctor detected strep b in my urine. i dont really feel too comfortable taking these in the first trimester even though they may be considered "safe". any insight would be great.
Avatar f tn Hi. I just turned 7 weeks today. This is my first pregnancy and have no idea what to expect other than what I read. Im concerned because I have absolutely no symptoms. I took three pregnancy tests.. positive. And one at the clinic To confirm... also positive. I do notice that the sides of my breast closest to my armpits are somewhat soar but Not anything bad. I do not know if this is normal and if I should be concerned. My OB appt is in 3 weeks. Oh and I have no discharge or bleeding..
