They might. Usually they just do a dipstick which is a quick look for blood or bacteria. A culture is when they send it to the lab to see if anything grows that the dipstick didn't find. They should also check your urine under a microscope to see if you have any white blood cells present. You should call and ask. If they didn't do that, they need to.
