I am taking Digoxin for tachycardia--my cardiologist says that while there aren't good studies available for cardiac meds while pregnant Digoxin is believed to be safe. It is not a betablocker, however the dr felt the digoxin would be safer than a betablocker while preggo. Also the changes in your blood volume while pregnant may correct the tachycardia.

I'm 24 years old, very healthy, work out on a constant basis and eat healthy. I've always had a decent amount of ejaculation and it was very forceful and would "shoot" out. However, about a year ago I began to notice that the amount of ejaculate didn't seem as much and my orgasms are no longer forceful whatsoever. It does not shoot out like it did and it pretty much drips out weakly.

Elevated RDW (Random Distribution of red cell Width) can be due to vitamin B12 anaemia, folate anaemia or a concurrent iron anaemia with another type of anaemia.

I recently got a copy of my full blood count results which shows the following abnormalities:
Red blood count (RBC) - HI - 5.09
Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) - LO - 81
Mean corpusc. haemoglobin (MCH) - LO - 25.7
Red blood cell distribution width (RDW) - HI - 14.
RDW is red cell width distribution and is a test which checks the size of red cells. A high variation in the red cell size is reported as a high RDW.
High RDW can be an indication of liver disease, hemolytic anemia, iron deficiency anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency, thalassemia, etc.
The RDW values are correlated with the mean corpuscular volume to obtain an idea of which factor is causing the RDW to rise.

s my completely unprofessional opinion on what I know about digoxin, and I took it for a number of years as a kid for SVT. It's an old drug that's been used literally for centuries. I took it back in 1957. It's inherently toxic and if that fact was not enough to curtail its use, there's evidence that suggests the drug, even at dosages normally considered safe, can cause visual problems, serious skin rashes, and may significantly aggravate asthma.
I have been taking digoxin .25mg to help control them and 2 baby aspirin daily. I have just started waking out of a SOUND sleep with heart rate in excess of 126 bpm w/ bp146/98 (last night). I will then start shaking. I did goto the ER a few weeks back when my heart rate was 158 bpm and a bp of 198/110, the EMT said I was having an anxiety attack. When I got to the hospital they ran tests and noted that I had no level of digoxin in my blood.
