This question is mostly directed towards Ryan or anyone having knowledge. I have read quite a few of his posts stating that xanax doesn't reach steady state because it's too short acting. He may be right but I ran across product literature stating otherwise and need clarification. I am having a hard time switching from 10mg valium to 1mg xanax because I am experiencing valium withdrawals by the 2nd day so I pop one and am fine.

I took Digoxin for a number of years in reponse to an atrial fibrillation event. My new physician did not feel I needed to be on it any longer. What are the side effects of discontinuing this medication? I have been off it for several months and some odd changes in my body.

I am literally in a state of confusion. Here's my story..about four years ago I had a severe veritigo attack..had mri and other tests. Diagnosed months later with Meneire's. I am taking Digoxin for tachycardia--my cardiologist says that while there aren't good studies available for cardiac meds while pregnant Digoxin is believed to be safe. It is not a betablocker, however the dr felt the digoxin would be safer than a betablocker while preggo. Also the changes in your blood volume while pregnant may correct the tachycardia.

I'm 76 and have had 2 cardio versions. My cardio just took me off digoxin and started me on propafenone which is really making me sick. Do you ever adjust to it? I'm taking 225 mg twice a day.
