digitek

Avatar n tn None of this explains what happened to me. They were asking about all of his medicine and he was on the digitek and had to take some of his medicine back up to the pharmacy with like 10 pills left. I am very lost in what happened with him and would just like some closure on why he detriated so quickly. If you can be of any assistance I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks, sweetredt!!
Avatar f tn Lanoxin has not been recalled.... digitek was recalled..
Avatar f tn As Toprol also reduces blood pressure and I have low blood pressure as it is, I started having dizziness and nausea. He then put me on Digitek, which has since been recalled and I havebeen on 0.25 mg of digoxin for about 2 months. I recently started to have cramps, abnormal bowel movements and I feel very exhausted. The doctor reduced the dosage to .125 mg and on the first day I felt better until about 6PM and then the cramps started again.

Avatar n tn After my heart attack 6 years ago, I was on digitek for a few months only. The known side effects of digitek: "Apathy, blurred vision, breast development in males, change in heartbeat, confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, lower stomach pain, nausea, psychosis, rash, vomiting, weakness, yellow vision" I was concerned with the prescription when there was a recall. As it turned out it was the generic "digitek" for digoxin.
Avatar f tn ve been with this program since about 2004 and it is fantastic! Postage is free in both directions and I take my digital cassette machine in the car and use my inverter to play them when on long trips. If you already know about this, ignore me!
Avatar n tn I did have a chest infection about one-month before my last heart episode. Did you also hear about the Digitek recall and that problem? I stopped taking it the week my breathing problem stopped?
Avatar n tn She is on various meds for this.,,coumadin, digitek, metoprolol.... She still has trouble breathing. Does not want to go on oxygen. Would moving to sea level help her? If we did a trial test, how long would it take to tell if it is helping?
Avatar n tn his DR had him on Digitek and lasix for a while saying it was CHF. He got really sick last saturday and we took him to the ER. They found he was in A-FIB and they did a few tests. (he looked pale) They admitted him and after a cardiologist came in and listened to him they said he had a Valve leak and murmur. The did a Heart Catherization and found their were no clogged arteried, but he has Mitral Valve regurgitation. They said it's pretty severe.
Avatar f tn Power inverter plugs right into your cigarette lighter in the car.... blow drying is taken care of. LOL I could do this and might consider it if I wasn't married and didnt have kids. The wife? I bet she would not be real keen to the idea....
Avatar f tn The high-voltage water pump for the inverter died yesterday when I pulled up to my garage. I have a 2001 Toyota Prius (Gen I) with 300,000 miles on it. Wow! I have to keep it for a while longer - I can't afford a new car right now. Worked yesterday, and will again Friday. Took a bike ride Sunday, and hoping to take another one tomorrow. My postmistress in my little town introduced me to a newly diagnosed woman who lives just 3 miles away from me. We're planning a walk Thursday.
Avatar n tn 25 with bad breathing problems, had an electro-cardioversion that brought me back to normal sinus rythem, normal breathing and again EF back up to 40% in 1-month continued on with Coreg and Digoxin for 9-months, came off the coreg and continued taking the Digitek only.
Avatar n tn I have overcome it with PT and have been using a inverter bed on and off which really helped. About 4 weeks ago it started and I used the bed but this time it didn't work. After suffering a few days and taking a lot of Tylenols and experiencing the loss of use of my right leg and foot rendering me unable to walk I went to a surgeon recommended by my son-in-law. They said I had a ruptured disc pressing on my nerves causing the loss of my leg and the drop-foot syndrome.
425331 tn?1210954038 com if you look on the left you will see a box that says pregnancy test inverter sounds stupid i know but thats where it is if you want to look it up. so what do you guys or anyone else think????
Avatar n tn They claim a DYI muscle balance , nutrition, pressure point therapy will cure you of sciatica. They also sell nutrients, inverter tables, heat pads etc. on their website. What about the TNF injection that shows instant relief by a doctor in California on Utube? Just google "improvement in 30 minutes for sciatica" on utube. Makes me want to jump on a plane! The chiropractor also almost had me convinced to cough up big $$.
Avatar f tn I have a split system that cools and heats with an inverter to save on power. I do live in a very hot country so I could not imagine life without my air con. Also my Neuro applied for a subsidy for me to help with some of the running costs which is called a thermoregulatory grant. He basically said I have MS and RA which is effected by heat and cold. It's worth a try and make some enquiries.
Avatar m tn Treatment was to stent RCA (98%) blocked, medication (ACE inhibitor) to dilate vessels to reduce heart workload as well as beta blocker, diuretic for edema (6 months), anti-platelets meds, digitek to increase heart contractions. Medication reversed the remodeled left ventricle. Stent and medication provided more oxygenated blood to the hypokinetic location of the heart, etc.
Avatar f tn I was a participant in the thread on this forum in 2008, and there was a recall on digitek ( a generic) and it was an overdose issue and caused serious injury. If my memory serves. I find it interesting, and it may be true, if telling a patient of the possible side effect may have a placebo effect.
649848 tn?1534633700 An inverter for your laptop, a good power port for it in your vehicle, and a phone company with lots of propane for their backup generator. Priceless.
649848 tn?1534633700 No connection to the electric grid, large soar panel, deep charge lead/acid batteries (that need to be checked, maintained, not over-taxed), and an inverter that allows the house to be wired for normal 120 AC. Phone connection only outside link. Propane tank to run a propane refrigerator (a flame about the size of a pilot light) and back up heat. Mostly passive solar, stuccoed straw bale walls.
