difference between oxycodone and roxicodone

t have any problems. And have been on pain management and on Oxycodone since 2011 and never had any problems on them. They have to be made with different components?

Roxicodone and Oxycodone have the same basic ingredient. The variance is the strength of the Oxycodone. Percocet has Tylenol and Oxycodone. Roxicodone is only oxycodone (so no Tylenol). They usually come in strengths higher than 10mg. So, it is more likely that the Roxicodone would be stronger. Have you tried Tizanidine for Muscle Spasms? It may work better. The only way I love Flexeril is in a transdermal pain cream, used for musculoskeletal and myofascial pain.

I have a question about the difference between oxy and vicodin are these two drugs seperate addictions for instance I am on day 7 (yippee) without and oxy's I have been taking some small doses of vicodin for the last 7 days to keep myself from going completely off the deep end although there have been many many times where I thought I was going to absolutly lose it, I have been through this once before my main issue with detox is anxiety is by far is my worst symptom I can deal with the lack

I believe that oxycodone is the generic name for Roxicodone, which is also obviously percocet without the tylenol. Oxycontin and oxycodone are the same thing, EXCEPT oxycodone is a quick release tablet, and oxycontin is a slow release of the same med. Hydrocodone is the ingredient in Vicodin and Lortab. Although they are all narcotics, vicodin and lortab are lesser strength than the oxy's and morphine.

Roxicodone is a brand; oxycodone is the generic. I'm not sure if roxicodone has Tylenol in it (Percocet does; oxycodone does not.) I don't find morphine helpful for my pain. It also gave me a constant, dull headache, which wouldn't go away with ibuprofen or Tylenol. Oxycodone works best for my pain. I gave up the long-acting meds totally for a number of reasons. I may use them again but for now, I'm okay with the oxycodone and other non-narcotic things.

Oxycodone/roxycodone? Are you taking this? Fentanyl and roxicodone/oxycodone all all opiates. That's a lot if taken together. It just depends...

i had knee surgery at end of Dec. and am just now coming off the pain pills and am going nuts. I'm sure its the percocet but am alittle confused about the difference between Percocet and the oxycontin as they both have said....OXYCODONE... on the label is the oxy just a time release percocet?

Roxicodone does not contain acetaminophen, it's the same thing as oxycodone and is about 90% opiate and very addictive. It would be less invasive to the liver as opposed to Lortab, Vicodin or Percocet which do have acetaminophen, Ibuprofen or something along those lines.

Roxicodone(OXYCODONE) is MUCH STRONGER THAN Narco/Vicodin(HYDROCODONE!) There are also 2 different drugs as well. Just trying to be accurate and stick to the facts.. Although it is a strong narcotic opiate pain killer as well as Vicodin/Narco it is different also.. Dr's and most people I know are aware that oxycodone is a much stronger opiate than hydrocodone!

I don't think that time-released medication would work because sometimes the Percocet gives some relief for 4-5 hours, and other times I have to take a dose at 2-1/2 to 3 hours. I have an appointment this month and it is for a medication change. My doc knows that I research the meds before I request them. I know I am very lucky to have a compassionate doctor who will work with me.

roxicet is percocet, roxicodone is oxycodone. Roxicet and Roxicodone are slang so the person at the clinic may never have heard of it. Keep posting daily and we will all help you get through this. i have been without the actiq for 7 days now, only used the kadian sporadically to try and keep withdrawls and bay until i figure out what step is best next. i have had friends giving me roxicodone 30 mg 1 a day in these 7 days and another friend gave me 4 20 mg oxycontin. my pcp told me i was over the worst part when out of knowwhere last night i became sick as a dog. now i am doubting i can do this. can someone please give me some insight as to what to expect or what i should do.

This is about my husband. Over a year ago, he was prescribed Oxycodone (or roxicodone?) 15 mg (the kind without the tylenol) for an accident he was in. He hasnt been on that for awhile, but still has some left from before. About 3 months ago, he got prescribed the regular percocet 10mg for cronic pain. They drug test you every month there and he goes this week.

Vicodin and Norco are both hydrocodone, they ar just different brand names. Roxicodone is oxycodone. This medication is a bit stronger than than the other two. I am telling you this because you have three different medications and two are the same thing. If your taking all these together then perhaps it is just too much and this is why your getting so nauseated. I would try the roxicodone and if it does not help then you can take either the vicodin or the Norco.
