I’m actually retaining between 15lbs and 20lbs of water when I stand on the scale during these times. And when this happens, I get off of everything except for the oxycodone as needed, one of the anti-inflammatory pills, and one of the muscle relaxers, as well as some furosemide 40 (water pills) along with potassium20MEQ. Throughout all this I have excruciating pain between my hip and knee down my leg on the left side mostly. And both legs constantly fall asleep on me a lot.
I'm always trying to get through to the doctors, that prior to the accident...I prob took like a over the counter pain reliever at the most twice a year. My tummy just is rejecting a lot of the meds. The worst is always the anti-inflammation meds. I've been on Nabumetone(I think that is it), Naproxen and now Mobic and everything, even w/ food it still makes me sick. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels sick from these.....
Wow, I believe Iam addicted. The hormone meds. Iam taking are suppose to start making a difference in 2-3months if it's endo that I have. so what do I do for pain between now and then?
My pulse is exceptionally weak and my blood pressure is 156/90 after taking one (1) 500mg Naproxen and an amphetamine. I went and got my blood pressure checked, as well as my resting heart rate. The nurse never actually tried to feel my pulse, though. So I came home and I am very worried about how weak my pulse is. Has anybody heard weather or not taking Naproxen with an amphetamine can be harmful because it is not in the drug facts and I cannot find anything about it online either.
Great information. I've done the OTC meds and that's what took me to Mobic/Meloxicam. My doctor did the preauthorization and that's what was denied. I don't even know if Celebrex is going to bet miracle. I will go to their website and see if I can get some discount coupons. Just for general information to anyone that cares..... I have seen a top gastroantonologist (spelling) who killed the myth about Tylenol and liver function.
I have had both 800mg IB. And 800mg Meloxicam and one thing I know being on numerious medications for the past 10 years due to bad car accidents, is that your body will build a tolerance to all medications I'm no Dr but my best advice is to consult your Dr about alternating between both so that way your body doesn't build a high tolerance and they stop working altogether.

One medication may have been developed first and others later that are somewhat similar chemically and in the same chemical family but they may be completely different medications. I take Methocarb and that is prescribed for me to control dystonic spasms. It is an anti spasmodic. Meprobamate is an anti anxiety medication.
Any of these medications can be prescribed for other purposes as determined by a doctor or psychiatrist or other treating professional.
I tried similac and it didnt sit well with them. I know a lot of moms who used similac and were good with it.
