Avatar n tn You need to DIET AND EXERCISE! Just exercising won't do it!. To lose belly fat you need to be choosing healthy low-calorie foods and regular cardiovascular exercise. Warm up for five minutes on a stationary bike or a treadmill. Exercise at a moderate pace to get your heart rate up and get blood flowing in your muscles. Warming up before exercising decreases your risk of injury. Try the following!

Avatar n tn I work two jobs and go to college, so I am on the move a good bit, but I try to exercise when I have spare time. If anyone has any dieting tips, recipes, excersise tips, or anything else, feel free to comment!
Avatar n tn Can anyone give me tips on a good diet plan or food to eat to lose fat and weight?
Avatar n tn Purely anecdotal, but I was able to normalize my enzymes 2-3 times during the 40 years prior to treatment. In all these instances I adhered to a strict low fat diet, namely the "Pritkin" diet where total fat calories add up to no more than 10% of total daily calories. Protein is also limited on this diet so it's basically high carb, low fat, low-moderate protein. That said, some will say that a more balanced "Zone" type diet is better for the liver.
Avatar f tn Id say eat lots and lots of fruits and veggies. And limit sweets (duh, I bet you knew that lol) like.. twice a week. And drink plenty of water.
899491 tn?1243773627 Depends how far you are going. I know when I traveled to Spain (my last plane trip before I acquired my physical disability) I had to adjust my medication schedule to a different time zone so my psychiatrist explained to me what was the best way. Even going from the east coast to the west coast of the United States or vice versa will change sleeping schedule and the time to take medications so generally psychiatrists can explain what is the best way to adjust to this specific change over.
Avatar f tn I gave up all soda including diet. Instead of starchy pastas and potatoes. I now eat non starchy vegetables, lean protein and lowerfat dairy. Also I started small on exercising. 5 minutes a day has now turned into 2 hours three to four times a week. U can do this. I started at 322 pounds I am now down to 306 as of this morning. All of this lost in a 6 weeks.
676032 tn?1315674063 Take a peek at the Zone diet and South Beach plan - this may help you with weight issues if that is what you are asking about. What way do you mean "help" with hypothyroidism?
Avatar m tn Low iron, vit a and raw foods are hard to digest except certain fruits. The Liver Foundation website has loads of diet tips. I think cooked eggs/omelets and pasta are great choices. Just really watch the salt! No processed foods and hard cheeses have higher salt content. I'm a PBJ gal, so that's been my comfort food. NO alcohol or soda! A bicarbonate Pepcid/anti acid combo prescription pill taken each night helps too! Drink water! For constipation, Marla's is the safest.
15347008 tn?1446268459 Any tips for easy and safe diets? I am at my heaviest I had been in a long time and I hate it. Any tips?

Avatar f tn Obviously I have the Diet Diary App, for the past week I've been dieting-calorie counting. I've not eaten over 1700calss which is what the app set me. I've been eating all healthy foods with good meals too. I've been jogging 2/3 times a week, swimming once a week and sit ups 4/5 times a week with bits of walking in there. From Monday to Monday I've lost 1lb. Feeling a bit disheartened. Im 5ft 8 and weigh 11.9 after my 1lb loss.
Avatar m tn Lots of opinions ("professional" and other) re diet/nutrition. What is working for me now, is a "South Beach/Zone" type of diet which is basically lean meat/fish and vegetables. Almost no starch (bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, etc) and very little fruit -- maybe one portion three times a week. With this diet -- and copious amounts of exercise -- Ive lost ten pounds, brought my cholesterol down from 200 to 150 and normalized my bp from pre-hypertensive.
Avatar f tn ) Sorry I dont have a meal plan but hope this helps a lil! Good luck!
Avatar f tn Rachrou they do have a diet hot chocolate you can drink. I am type II diabetic and it is safe for you to drink won't shoot your sugars up either.
Avatar f tn For a year or so i have had a terrible diet of mostly junk food and a relatively sedentary lifestyle. As a result of this i am now 4 stone overweight and always feeling tired and sluggish. Since last week i have joined my local gym and cut out junk food and sugar as much as i possibly can. I have reduced my calorie intake to about 1300 a day but i am feeling very ill and weak. What is the reason for this?
Avatar f tn hye..i'm 19 & i'm fat since i was 6 years old.can you suggest me on healthy diet that will make me slim within 2 months? with exercises too.. cause i'm getting tired on people who always look down on me. TQ :) plus i'm having 'shy' problem.its not that i dislike jogging, but with people around, its make me feel like 'why i am the only one with this size..
Avatar f tn Try not to look at it as a "diet". You should be making actual lifestyle changes that you can stick with over the long term. Often making small changes (like switching from soda to water) are better than a strict diet that's not sustainable.
1632323 tn?1425010283 Hi everyone, i am new to this forum and was just wondering if anyone is on a rawfood diet. If yes Can you share some tips with me? i intend to because i am overweight with PCOS and would love to get alot off. Thanks in advance.
Avatar n tn Diet pills don't work unless you change lifestyle. That be to eat healthier. Healthy nutrition should be the main goal, not weightloss. By focusing on that, we could all save us some problems. My answer is: Diet pills are all about the money. 30-day trials work but only because the initial weightloss experienced are fluids. The safest way to loose weight is to add some physical activity to the day (3 work-out sessions over a week's time) and to get steady on meals. So....
Avatar n tn I agree with Verona and also urge you to consider a diet (life plan change) as the Zone diet or SOuth Beach Both these diets control insulin and are very helpful with weight in hypothyroid patients. I found the Zone plan to be better. I have taken off about 7 to 10 pounds - I still bloat at times - but I do feel better.
Avatar n tn try using the sunbeds or sun shower for a few minutes a couple of times a week along with this cut out alcohol and chocolate from your diet and stock up on fruit and veg this will help the blackheads clear. Once they have cleanse, tone and moisturise morning and night to keep them at bay. sounds like obvious advice but it really does work!!
