I drink a good amount of water a day already and I am vegetarian(I eat eggs and dairy though). I am worried because it was horrible passing the stone.

Avatar n tn Diet coke, like any other sugary drink, dehydrates people. You should stop drinking it. I would recommend mix water with lemon juice and ice, or with cucumber, or with any juice you like. I hope you feel better.

Avatar f tn My mid wife told me if I feel nauseas to eat crackers. And or take freshly squeezed lemon juice or store bought lemon juice and just smell it. She said the smell of lemon juice helps with being nauseated. Hope this helps!!
Avatar f tn I suggest 2 cups of very warm water with lemon in the morning directly after waking up. Lemon water is a safe and natural diuretic and it usually works for me. Try avoiding bread for a day or two. Heavy carbs causes constipation. Good luck!

I stopped drinking pop (it was making my face break-out, and I was trying to watch my weight - I gained 60lbs with my daughter and lost 10lbs in a month with this pregnancy, so I don't want to balloon up again) and switched to lemon-water (I still occasionally have a pop, but not as much as I used to.

1711722 tn?1356487554 Gatorade is good, but watch your sodium and potassium levels. Doctor told me to take my water and mix a little lemon juice and add just a little sugar to it. Makes it lots better. Something else, I have tried because everything I drink and eat just sets in my upper stomach waiting to go somewhere like out the up spout, is I started taking Zopram. Works like magic :) Keep drinking!
Avatar f tn Aim for drinking 4 quarts of water daily. Try drinking a cup of hot prune juice at bedtime. Eat lots of veggies. Get some All Bran and make their high fiber muffins to eat daily. Walk or other exercise every day! I hope you get moving soon!

Avatar m tn Warm Water with squeezed lemon juice is good for the liver and kidneys and bloodstream- Beets kinda nasty though but have great effects for detoxifiying the liver- Organic Apple Juice is good for the liver( Not that fake stuff from concentate) the real stuff- eating apples are good for the liver as well- Excersise and good diet of course- drinking good amounts of water- Anyway thats my knowledge and I hope that it helps you.Soon they will have a cure and we will beat this!!!!!

Avatar f tn I did as well. I had saltines on my bedside table and ate some before I even sat up. Then went straight to the frig for some fruit. Carbs seemed to keep the nausea down throughout the day. Counter act all the carb consumption with fruit and your diet should balance out so you don't gain to much weight to fast. Drunk lots of fluids like milk water and juice. Unfortunately the first trimester is pretty bad about the sickness so you will want to rest a lot.

Avatar f tn Try drinking warm lemon water every morning and drink a lot of water throughout the day, add more fiber and greens to your diet. Eat fruit like berries, pears, and apples to your diet as well and stay away from starchy high carb foods. Prues also work but only if you drink lots water.
