Avatar n tn If your like most Americans with a diet seriously lacking the daily requirements of vitamin B then yes. Taking one will boost your metabolism until the body processes it out of your system. Which is also why taking a second one 5 hours later doesn't give you nearly the strong effect the first one had. I recommend to others to get their weight under control before trying much more than walking so as to not stress your knees. Control your diet and as your weight drop slowly increase your physical activity. Remember to get a good overall work out as that will help overall toning and as your metabolic rate rises it will also help with losing weight. Good luck.
