Watch your portion sizes and be sure to eat only one portion of everything, except non-starchy veggies. Avoid peas, potatoes, corn because they are starchy.

Chicken and turkey are good choices, as well. Center your meals around veggies, rather than meat. You can eat unlimited amounts of almost any type of veggie, provided that it doesn't have butter or sauce on it, and you'll be adding very few calories.

Limiting carbs also means eating LESS, not NONE of the breaded fried foods, like fish, chicken, and other normally breaded fried foods. Balsamic Rice is better than plain white rice, and wild rice is better. French fries are not good, nor a lot of any kind of white Potatoes. Sweet potatoes are better.

Avatar f tn I did as well. I had saltines on my bedside table and ate some before I even sat up. Then went straight to the frig for some fruit. Carbs seemed to keep the nausea down throughout the day. Counter act all the carb consumption with fruit and your diet should balance out so you don't gain to much weight to fast. Drunk lots of fluids like milk water and juice. Unfortunately the first trimester is pretty bad about the sickness so you will want to rest a lot.
