Avatar f tn seems a really silly question to ask but I am unsure and cant see a correct answer yet about this but can you diet a little whilst pregnant? I am 23+1 and all I do is eat take aways or junk food like sweets etc I eat far too much just now and I never use to be like this so is it safe to try cut out a loy of that and diet a little and what exercise is safe to do whilst pregnant?
Avatar f tn First you need a proper diet! Your cal. intake isn't good and what do you eat? I suggest the following! The Peak 8 routine it will quickly raise your heart rate 8 times for very short bursts, with a cooling down period in between. Ideally you’ll be sprinting or cycling full throttle for 30 seconds with a 90 second cool down in between each outburst. This is the fastest way to lose fat and build muscle in the body. Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body.
Avatar n tn I was doing some Googling and found a review in 2015 by Dr. Max Gomez of CBS news, of his Nissen Fundoplication surgery. He seems to no longer work for CBS news. I cannot help wondering how he is today and am trying to find out. I don't suppose anyone here knows? Also, does anyone have any familiarity with the surgeon he used from NYU? Dr. Bizekis? He seems to have a good writeup online. http://newyork.cbslocal.
1382889 tn?1505071193 He is an Integrative Medicine doc. I am sure he will be putting me on a Gluten free diet. I am waiting to start the diet for two reasons: 1. It's hard. No wheat, rye, or barley 2. In case he wants to test for actual Celiac disease-tests will be negative, regardless of if I have it or not, if I have already cut out gluten. I definitely believe in this type of medicine.
Avatar f tn I would go back to the doctor and tell of your problems, as you cannot function day to day like this. This medicine seems to be having an adverse affect on you. But don't just stop it on your own, do it under the guidance of your doctor. It could also be the combination of drugs, but either way, see your doctor.
Avatar f tn Also, if you are taking any kind of medication right now, have the same doc review all the side effects, sometimes they can cause diarrhea. And anyway, when you have such a lengthy bout of diarrhea following the bag reversal, you need to tell the doc about that. So, make an appointment with a doc, even your general doc is okay if you can see him quicker than the surgeon.
159619 tn?1707018272 When I had my annual visit last fall she saw no need for a Thallium stress test but wanted to do an echo to check my EF% again and compare it to the that last two years. In January 2007 I improved my diet and started working out on a treadmill EVERY day for 45 - 60 minutes maintaining a target heart rate of 130 - 140 which is about 80-85% of my max heart rate for my age.
Avatar m tn Whether diet has an impact on the disease.
Avatar n tn And depending on the hospital, they might discuss the measurements with you right there but at mine they dont.
Avatar m tn s needed for important tasks in the body such as maintenance. Perhaps your diet needs adjusting for the specific type of exercise you do. Maybe eat a high carb diet and try again? Like I said it's just a stab in the dark but the whole metabolism of your body is affected by your diet.
Avatar f tn Max, my mini schnauzer, started to lose his eye sight in September of 2017. By Halloween he was completely blind and diagnosed by a specialist as having SARDS. He has needed no treatment and gets around quite well. Most ppl can’t even tell he’s blind. Breaks my heart that he’s lost his sight but he takes it in stride. My concern is that he’s also recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and I cannot help but think that these are related.
Avatar m tn Male / 34yo / No past-current affections / No STDs / No meds / No supplements / Healthy diet / Good sleep SYMPTOMS: ALL of the symptoms started in my early 20s (34 now) and have increased in a slowly but constant way until many of then became unbearable or I have only realised about them because of how they affect my life.
Avatar m tn Oh and another superb bit of latest research, to avoid heart disease max your intake of sugar to 6 tea spoons max per day.
Avatar m tn Diet is key here. I can only speak from experience and give suggestions as I am not a doctor. If you haven't already, eliminate salt and salted foods from your diet. This should bring some relief by eliminating it. Seek out a knowledgeable dietician to help you. Your Insurance company or your doctor may recommend one. Medical teams anymore have a dietician on staff. Stage 4 here and eating the foods compatible with my liver has helped reduce liver disease symptoms greatly.
Avatar f tn A good trainer should test for your resting heart rate and from there determine your max heart rate. It is at your max heart rate that you want to strive to do all of your exercises at (I would not try to exceed your max at this time or on your own.) As you improve your resting heart rate will change, so you want to monitor this with at least a monthly re-evaluation with your trainer.
Avatar n tn The consultant stated that my breasts were ageing, but he wanted to see me for review in three months time, although it would probably take longer for the appointment to come though. As I was very nervous at the time, I didn’t ask any questions. I am going to see him for a review appointment this Thursday. I was just wondering if you think it would be appropriate to ask for a biopsy. I believe it is fat necrosis, as I only noticed the lump after my son jumped on me.
