Avatar f tn Also, your little darling will start all over with their own deducible at birth unless your individual/family deducible/out-of-pocket max has been met. Hopefully this might help clear up any confusion.
Avatar n tn Keep in mind that most plans have whats known as a "max out of pocket" that is most you can pay out of pocket before your plan covers 100% per calender year. Refer to your plan documents for this feature. Lots of times the amount is double for out of network providers. AND if the doctors dont participate then they can balance bill you the difference between the allowable and what they charge. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn seems a really silly question to ask but I am unsure and cant see a correct answer yet about this but can you diet a little whilst pregnant? I am 23+1 and all I do is eat take aways or junk food like sweets etc I eat far too much just now and I never use to be like this so is it safe to try cut out a loy of that and diet a little and what exercise is safe to do whilst pregnant?
Avatar f tn First you need a proper diet! Your cal. intake isn't good and what do you eat? I suggest the following! The Peak 8 routine it will quickly raise your heart rate 8 times for very short bursts, with a cooling down period in between. Ideally you’ll be sprinting or cycling full throttle for 30 seconds with a 90 second cool down in between each outburst. This is the fastest way to lose fat and build muscle in the body. Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body.
Avatar f tn Sorry wouldn't let me comment in that thread anymore. Unfortunately the US doesn't have the same rules in every state...it really bothers me. So in both California and WA to what midwives and naturopath have told me, midwives cannot work with ppl with previous csection per state regulations. Just like in WA a naturopath can be your primary caregiver but in California you must go to a doctor for things like shots.
Avatar n tn My daughter had a procedure done in Boise, Idaho, I have excellent health insurance and the doctor booked the out patient facility for the surgery. The hospital is now billing me for the operating room twice. I contacted my insurance company and they have requested the medical reports for this second charge and have never been sent any. My letters from my insurance company state this is a duplicate charge and tell me to ignore it.
Avatar n tn ) in March (about 9 months ago)...nothing else in between. I have had a bad diet of late, drinking lots of soda. I have an upset stomach recently and what I think is a sore testicle (can't pinpoint the pain really)...nothing severe...more like an upset stomach. No burning, no discharge, nothing else. Wondered what you think?
1382889 tn?1505071193 He is an Integrative Medicine doc. I am sure he will be putting me on a Gluten free diet. I am waiting to start the diet for two reasons: 1. It's hard. No wheat, rye, or barley 2. In case he wants to test for actual Celiac disease-tests will be negative, regardless of if I have it or not, if I have already cut out gluten. I definitely believe in this type of medicine.
Avatar n tn I told them that I understood that was the max the hospital could charge in the event we went OVER $979, but since our final billed charges only came to $418, why were we being charged more than that amount. Aetna said that this was "their way of keeping the hospitals happy". That "no hospital would ever contract with them if they lost money on the bigger claims through Aetna's negotiated fees, and this was their way of making up the difference".
Avatar f tn Medicare is my primary and medicaid is my secondary. My doctor only takes Medicaid but had tried billing both and neither is paying. I thought I had this fixed 5 months ago and today my doc says that nothing has been paid and I might have to find a different doctor. I'm almost 33 weeks and needless to say that scares me having to maybe find a different doc.
Avatar n tn Dear Jerry1997, You might have figured out that the fact that both plans consider themselves your primary doesn’t work in your favor; it just means that they will not coordinate benefits. In cases where a person is lucky enough to have 2 types of coverage, the best thing to do is to find out which plan covers a particular service at a higher level & use the insurance with higher coverage.
Avatar m tn s needed for important tasks in the body such as maintenance. Perhaps your diet needs adjusting for the specific type of exercise you do. Maybe eat a high carb diet and try again? Like I said it's just a stab in the dark but the whole metabolism of your body is affected by your diet.
Avatar f tn You can do medical billing specialist..
228686 tn?1211554707 Dear Savas, The hospital where you had your treatment should have your Anesthesiologist’s name & contact information. If they can just provide you with his full name, you can use a search engine like Google & find his contact information.
Avatar f tn Max, my mini schnauzer, started to lose his eye sight in September of 2017. By Halloween he was completely blind and diagnosed by a specialist as having SARDS. He has needed no treatment and gets around quite well. Most ppl can’t even tell he’s blind. Breaks my heart that he’s lost his sight but he takes it in stride. My concern is that he’s also recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and I cannot help but think that these are related.
Avatar m tn Oh and another superb bit of latest research, to avoid heart disease max your intake of sugar to 6 tea spoons max per day.
334776 tn?1249968581 I've been sitting home bored and **** trying to find something to do but can't. My husband is at work and my son is on the potty. And me I'm listening to max and ruby bored out of my mind...
Avatar m tn Diet is key here. I can only speak from experience and give suggestions as I am not a doctor. If you haven't already, eliminate salt and salted foods from your diet. This should bring some relief by eliminating it. Seek out a knowledgeable dietician to help you. Your Insurance company or your doctor may recommend one. Medical teams anymore have a dietician on staff. Stage 4 here and eating the foods compatible with my liver has helped reduce liver disease symptoms greatly.
Avatar f tn A good trainer should test for your resting heart rate and from there determine your max heart rate. It is at your max heart rate that you want to strive to do all of your exercises at (I would not try to exceed your max at this time or on your own.) As you improve your resting heart rate will change, so you want to monitor this with at least a monthly re-evaluation with your trainer.
Avatar f tn No I just called the billing company and gave my medicaid id
12584065 tn?1436320514 I was looking into medical billing and coding but idk how easy it will be to get a job working from home right away? I want to be sure that I study something that I will be able to find work at home with. Anyone done this and found work from home?
Avatar f tn I have been to a psychiatrist and I can not understand how he is billing me. The codes he gives in the invoice are 99214 and 90838. I looked them up and the second codes says 60 mins of psychotherapy. However I never see him for that long. He is always late and today I saw him for probably 30 mins. Has anyone else had this problem? And how can he charge me for more time?
Avatar n tn I was at Cedars Sinai before and although I liked the dr, the billing department was a total and complete disaster. They charged me $3000 for a cash package and then turned around and billed my insurance company (which paid--we have yet to be reimbursed from Cedars). Almost every time I went in the billing got messed up.
Avatar n tn It's expensive! That is all you need to know. You will need insurance.
Avatar n tn The other dog also survived but the vet expenses for this poor lady were through the roof and she also will have to have regular tests for liver disease as will Max. I still take max to the vet but will now only see the older vet, not the younger more apparently progressive vet who not only x-rayed the wrong leg when I had max in the office, but swore by the previcox.
10570408 tn?1412078257 t work for you, then you need different kind of diet, maybe a more moderate-carb diet. Try leaving out the sugar, junk food, and grains, but add back in two or three servings a day of healthy but carb-y vegetables, and see what happens.
