I thought I would have trouble with the breakfasts but I made some egg beater & ham scramble and it didn't take much time. We'll see how it goes. I'm definitely not starving which is nice. Doesn't feel at all like a diet. Gym is working out well.

I've still been eating my french fries, whoppers, sourdough mushroom swiss burgers & pizza's. HOWEVER I am staying below 2000 calories for a 24 hr period. My choice of foods to consume are not the healthiest nor the best foods in the world to promote heart health. It is a diet very high in sodium. I can tell it in my eyes, my fingers & my lower legs.

Avatar n tn I have worked with doctors who specialize in weight management and they would tell you eating 500 calories a day puts your body into starvation mode and yes you will lose weight but as soon as you stop that diet you will gain the weight back plus some... Stick with a low fat diet with lots of veggies and fruit count your calories and use a food journal..

The best weight loss diet I've ever seen is macrobiotics -- those people are thin and have a tremendous amount of energy! -- but I don't push it because I don't personally believe in it for other reasons (mostly it seems to make people nervous and judgmental).

If it is slow, then it would explain why you are doing so much but not getting anywhere, or at least what you want. There are safe products that will speed up your metabolism. The thing is, at one time ephedrine was legal, and when used in moderation and safely had many benifits. However, people could not take it in moderation, they could not take a small amount, and they used it for drugs.

Avatar n tn It should take about 2 months to get to that dosage but I'm getting kinda excited hearing about the benefit of weight loss especially since it was weight loss pills (metabolife and xenedrine) that caused me to find out that I was epileptic in the first place! The doctor told me that i might get tingling in my fingers and i might feel a little dopy but happy dopy he described it as, so I figure i can deal with that! If I start losing weight at a rapid pace i'll definitely post again!
