Avatar f tn I would not suggest that a 15 yr old use diet pills of any kind. If by chance they would help you lose some weight (most of the time they don't work), you will only gain it back once you stop taking them. It would be much better is you incorporate a sensible diet and exercise into your routine to lose weight, so you will be able to keep it off. Feel free to read some of the other posts and health pages to get some ideas on how/where to start on a weight loss journey.
Avatar f tn You can't spot lose; you'll have to lose weight all over in order to lose the tummy weight. Is the skin you have on your tummy, just lose skin or is there fat under it? If it's just lose skin, it may because your skin stretched during your pregnancy and you might not be able to get rid of that simply by losing weight. Almost any type of work out is good, as long it's something you enjoy and will stick with. Walking is always excellent.

The only true way to lose weight is through better nutritional choices, moderate exercise and the support of those of us on this site. Avatar f tn Hello. I go through sort of the same struggle you do. I lost a ton of weight following the "Low GI" diet. Its Low Glycemic Index. The diet itself shouldn't really be called a diet because its really just all of the foods you should be eating anyway...but who am I to say that? The Low GI diet is great for people trying to stay away from getting Diabetes, and for people who have Diabetes. Google the diet to pull up all the foods.

Avatar f tn Following the rights diet and exercising daily could make you lose weight. Instead, starving is not the solution to lose weight. So, make sure you stay patience, eat healthy, exercise daily, and avoid eating junk food. This is my advise, buddy.

Avatar f tn 20 lbs is too much to lose in 3 weeks, with safe weight loss being 1-2 pounds/week. Most likely if you're gaining weight, it's because you're building muscle from the exercise. Try taking your measurements and see if you've lost body mass, even if the scale went the wrong direction. Your calorie intake is based on your age, height and current weight. Avatar f tn These types of weight loss are not recommended, because they lose weight too quickly, and are most likely losing water and muscle, not fat. Nearly all lost weight is regained as soon as the plan is stopped...
Avatar f tn AND, we also can gain weight as time goes on, our own eating habits, etc. Have you tried to lose the weight? I would perhaps cut down on the wine drinking, evaluate your diet, and add in more exercise (and a good multi vitamin) and see if that has any effect. And remember, any time we want to lose weight, it's best to go slow. And it will feel REALLY slow at first. Don't get discouraged. Do you think the Zoloft is helping? You are on a really low dose.
