332074 tn?1229564125 My problem is, I have sooo many food allergies that alot of the foods that are good for a diet, I can't eat. Is there anyway I can achieve weightloss with the foods that I can eat? I eat three meals a day because if I try six small meals, do not work with my schedule. Tyrosine-rich foods These foods include meat, fish, turkey and chicken breast, low fat milk and yogurt, almonds, avocado, bananas, lima beans, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, lentils.
494262 tn?1209489672 The less fat in our digestive system, the less the liver has to work to break it down. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omega 3s, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.

72351 tn?1281996142 I have a question about diet. I am a city bus driver. We do not have lunch breaks and must eat on the go, have to nibble throughout the day. That poses a problem when it comes to taking a test 2 hrs after eating as I am nibbling throughout day. Any helpful hints? Also, I am not having any troubles keeping my sugar down during the day. It has been anywhere from 93-110.

Avatar f tn The steadier you keep your blood sugar levels, the less urge for snacking and craving. When your blood sugar dips, you get the munchies and feel fatigued, and the sugar cravings arise. Then if you eat something that makes your blood sugar spike, it causes you to secrete insulin, which makes your blood sugar go low again, and the cycle of snacking /craving starts all over again.
Avatar f tn I still juice daily, but also have incorporated other foods into my diet that seem to work better for me. Have you had a biopsy yet or been seen by a liver Dr.? I don't know of any diet that causes platelets to fall yet this can indicate further progression of liver disease.
1291271 tn?1275496972 What foods should I eat after working out and how long after the workout should I eat them? Also is pizza a good munch after I workout or am I defeating the purpose?
649848 tn?1534637300 Two ways to do that are by changing to ingredients that will make our favorite foods more diet friendly; and by portion control. I've already committed in another thread, to implement the portion control; now I'm looking for good recipes that will allow us to have the foods we really like, without completely breaking the diet.
611067 tn?1458595083 I have been doing research and since we have 5 cats and not a lot of time, I don't think we can do the raw foods just yet (and hubby is out of work). But, we are looking at the various dry foods and I specifically like the EVO from everything I've read, but it's just way too expensive for us just now. There's another one we found sold at Petco that is Natural Balance. It's not as good as EVO and some of the others, but what do you thinik?
10909590 tn?1416440706 I work in a mall so i eat it 5 dayd a week but i usually get subway or a salad
Avatar f tn As for Soy, Asians eat a lot of soy in their diet, Soy formula is a good choice for infants, Soy-containing foods help prevent osteoporosis, Soy is a healthy food for adults, Soy helps improve libido in men. The above about Soy is false. Those who eat large amounts of soy, especially non-fermented soy, have severe hormonal imbalances that are very difficult or impossible to correct without eliminating or drastically reducing soy in the diet. i have seen soy as an ingredient added to tea bags!

Avatar f tn So the ZZ diet is a diet with counting calories such as...say a 1,200 calorie diet. Monday you take in 1,100 tusday-1,300 wendsday-1,700 Thursday-1,000 ect to get a weekly total of the same you get on 1,200 a day. So I'm wondering who dose this and dose it work? I hear it keeps you from hitting a pleatue or going into starvation mode. Also how do you feel about it? Like do you feel hungry? Are you happy with it? I'm going to try this.
Avatar m tn Also some assistance on the types of foods which work together well to allow her body to absorb the calcium. What kinds of foods should not be consumed together etc.. Thanks for your help.
193137 tn?1367883663 I stand by what I said, if you look at the diet, a lot of the foods that are eliminated are very healthy for you. Of course, a lot of the foods the diet recommends to not eat are definitely worth eliminating. I would just like to see a little bit more balance in their recommendations.
Avatar m tn I don't want to mess with the medications and want them to work most effectively, so wanted to ask if I should follow any dieting guidelines. 1) Are there any foods I should avoid? 2) If tolerable, is it better to take the medication on an empty stomach?
Avatar n tn So anyway, I did a search online and found a list of yeast-free foods and a list of foods that are not allowed on a Candida Diet. I started this diet 3 days ago and my symptoms are almost completely gone. My question now is... how long do I have to stay on this diet? I started it hoping it would work, which it seems to have done, but with the holidays coming up, I don't know if I'll be able to avoid all the foods that I'm not supposed to eat.
