Avatar m tn Hi and welcome to the Migraine and Headaches Community. I don't think it has to do with WHEN you eat but, rather, WHAT you eat. There are many different triggers but the thing is that each person has their own triggers and what triggers me might not trigger you. And what triggers you now might not trigger you later. My advice is to keep a journal. Write down what you eat each day and then when you get a migraine, and then rate your pain on a scale of 1-10, see if you find a pattern.

I'm very sorry about your mother's passing; it's always hard to lose our mother, but when it's sudden and unexpected, even harder yet. If you lost the weight, due to stress over your mother's passing, you will need to deal with those effects first. You may need to try counseling or something to get past it.

I had to force myself to stop counting calories because it had become such an obsession. I now just try to make healthier choices and stop eating when I'm satisfied. I have developed a problem where I wake up several times throughout the night and eat large amounts of food.
Avatar f tn Hi, congratulations! :) I was really sick at the start of my pregnancy too and was eating badly as it was all I could stomach. The main thing is to eat what you can, so don't worry about it- baby will get the nutrients required from you. Just keep taking vitamins (I found it better to have them at night or they didn't stay down either). Once the sickness passes you can get back to healthy eating :) good luck, I hope you have a lovely pregnancy!
