It is possible you had a miscarriage very early on. Clots are normal even in periods and miscarriages usually contain more blood and larger clots as you know but it is very possible that you were so soon in that you wouldn't get a lot of clotting or bleeding. I would make an appointment with your obgyn for them to do blood tests and a possible ultrasound just to make sure everything is ok as that is the safest thing to do when you feel something isn't right.
im not sure if it is.. but it was my first time feeling that pain... i couldnt stand up. i was crying... really bad cramps , bad backpain... did i have a miscarriage?
Later that afternoon, i had a massive cramp on my left side and started bleeding, thinking i am having a miscarriage, i went right to the er. I had a transvaginal u/s done, the er doc told me, that there was nothing seen in my uterus, nothing in the tubes, and a cyst on my left ovary. My HCG levels were still there, I left there with a paper saying i am either having a miscarriage, the fetus is implanted in the ovary, or it's still to early to see the fetus on u/s.
So now I am certain that I am not pregnant, however did I just have a miscarriage or was it my period? Is it safe to try again in the next cycle or should I visit a doctor for advice?

Starting in mid-January, I was getting pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, cramping, bloating, sensitive breasts. These symptoms continued for the next 2 months, and I also did not have a period for a total of 3 months. Date of conception would've been Dec 24. I decided to see how things progressed. I took a pregnancy test in February and there was a faint line, but I wasn't sure of the result as I don't really trust HPT in general.

I'm 14 and my bf and I had sex sat the 17th everything was fine till Sunday. Started getting cramps then Monday same thing. Tuesday the cramps moved to my right side alil. Today I was hitting myself all over my abdominal area to force a miscarriage and im in track. When I got home their was a lot of blood and almost passed out and had a headache. I think I may have had a miscarriage last month. My periods are always late, anywhere from a couple of days to a week, but when my period does come it is always the same. Heavy bleeding for the first three days and then it tapers off until there is only spotting on the sixth day, and it stops that night. I just had my period, it stopped the ninth, and was a normal period. Last month was very different, I've never experienced anything like it.
I do not think you had a miscarriage though becuase for one when i did mc i was 6 weeks and only then did i see a small blood clot. IF you did mc you would not have been able to see the blood clot (fetus) i dont believe. It would have been way too soon. I would take a pregnancy test if you miss your period and if comes out negative i would take a blood test becuase those are very accurate! Good luck!
Your hormone levels may still just be high but i wouldnt chance it....i would definetly be getting in with your OB doc ASAP!!!
I'm wondering if i had a miscarriage. I suspected that i was pregnant. I had all the symptoms, but i was also taking birth control. I was experiencing brown gooey stuff on my underwear for the past couple days. Then yesterday, i started getting cramps and sudden bleeding. I felt completely wet. As i was walking, i felt somwthing comeout of me. When i went to the bathroom , i saw on my underwear that there was this palmsized thing. It was white, red and gooey. Is it a blood clot ?
It's hard to say. If your hcg levels haven't gone down then I will still have a positive test.
Jan 9th I spotted, 10th nothing.. 11th normal period 12 heavy and then clot in the tub. would that have been a miscarriage? I didn't know I was preg if i was. I jus need help!! I feel preg now. ugh someone help me!!!!!!
If you had a negative HPT, then it most likely was not a pregnancy (especially a walnut-sized clot- you'd have to have been somewhat far into the 1st trimester for the sac to be that large).
It sounds like you had your period on time, even if it was a strange one. The clot was probably blocking the rest of the blood from coming out, hence the spotting before it came out and the heavy flow after it came out. Having a blood clot during a period does not mean you were pregnant.
