Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.
Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.
I would recommend an MRI of head/brain with CONTRAST, an MRI of the neck and a Neurology consult for starts.

i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.
I have recently had a CAT scan that came back normal in an emergency room. Sometimes it is so intense I have to go to bed and take vicodin (2) so the pain will subside. It is usually pounding when I need to take the vicodin. My head feels like there is a ball rolling around on the inside and when it hits the walls of my skull it hurts really bad. I hope you don't think I am crazy.
I recently found myself in a position where I have no Vs and am unable to obtain any. My doc had given my Adderol for depression and for focusing so I can work. I find that when I'm going through the w/d, the adderol helps with the cravings and other w/d effects, except the sleepless nights, crazy legs and no appetite.
I was doing up to 20 Vs a day for chronic back and neck pain from ruptured discs. So many of us have this problem.
My 59 year old husband, Hep C+ diagnosed in 2007, F-4 Cirrhosis diagnosed in 2010, compensated liver (last blood work was in July, 2012, and he has never had ascites, varices, or hepatic encephalopathy), and failed three Hep C treatments in past 5 years (last failure was triple tx w/Incivek stopped treatment mid-April, 2012 due to viral breakthrough), not currently on treatment.
Question: He has had pain and swelling on forearm recently.
I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.
Nothing came up and they said everything was fine but they put me on Amoxicillin, Ibuprofen, and Vicodin. No change. Then went to a new doctor. I dislocated my shoulder two weeks ago, and had an x-ray in the emergency room which showed no broken bones. I have since seen a physiotherapist, last week, where I have been given exercises and have been told to return in two weeks, to see if there is improved movement of my shoulder/arm, and to see if the pain has subsided. The pain continues to wake me at night, and today, the pain has been severe. I have been unable to do any exercises due to the pain.
nt know the difference. do you have access to diclofenac? it is an anti-inflamatory med with no addiction problems. i was just given a recipe for mixing it witha lotion and rubbing it into the skin to relieve pain. trying it right now. if you can control the pain with something like that, after the wd's, and even during, it would be great. if you can get them, barely cover 20 75 mg pills with water. or 30 50 mg pills if that is what you can get. let them set over night and disolve.
