People who have stomach issues from taking anti-inflammatories by mouth can bypass that problem with Voltaren gel.

Avatar n tn //www.drugs.com/voltaren-gel.html. Diclofenac is voltaren and the gel contains the Nsaid. This information states clearly that aspirin should not be used at the same time. Normally, blood thinners are also not used with Nsaids. So, speak with your doctor, of course, but would advise not to use these together based on the provided information.

NSAIDs include celecoxib (Celebrex), diclofenac (Voltaren), ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil), indomethacin, naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn), piroxicam (Feldene), and others. These medicines may affect blood clotting and could cause serious bleeding in your stomach or intestines. Avoid sudden changes in your diet. Vitamin K decreases the effects of Coumadin.

Avatar f tn A little over 2 years ago I had surgery for a torn labrum in my right shoulder that had been torn for about 16 months due to a cheerleading accident. It's similar to a rotator cuff injury, but is still its own unique injury. The labrum is the cartilaginous cup that holds the head of the humerus in place. Anyways, even after surgery it took about a year to start feeling better.
