Avatar m tn I used paracetamol and diclofenac as painrelievers.Could they be the causes of my headaches? My homeplace is a cold place but last december I moved to where I am now and the sun is scorching hot.can this be the cause?and if so,why has it taken two months since i moved in for me to fill the effects?lastly, can the omeprazole drugs help stop my epidermal pains or what other drugs should i use for this? Thanks again in advance.
Avatar f tn I posted this on one of my other discussions - so sorry if it seems repetitive. The pain hit as I was trying - yet again - to catch some sleep. I just couldn't lie comfortably. I finally gave in & took 2 paracetamol & 2 amitriptyline which my dr said would take the edge off the pain. It's codeine that I'm trying to quit - and I didn't take it - but I felt I needed something to numb the pain! Have I failed?
Avatar f tn Hi, welcome to the forum, Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including aspirin, diclofenac and ibuprofen, are associated with an allergic adverse effects, ranging from mild rash to life-threatening allergic reactions. In such cases it becomes difficult to select appropriate pain killer. The next we usually recommend is paracetamol (you are allergic to this drug too). The reason for such allergy is cross reactivity which is seen in this class of drugs.
Avatar f tn Pain has peaked twice in the 7 weeks, resulting in taking more pain killers. (paracetamol, codeine + diclofenac) however codeine has now been reduced and coping well. Pain moved round to the front (right side) into my groin (also shooting down my right leg). It has been a dull ache on occasions as well as sharp/stabbing pains. It is now mainly on my right side lower abdomen. Appendix has also been ruled out. CT scan also confirmed no kidney stones.
Avatar m tn m 23y old guy some years before at the age of 20 i fell extremely sick nausea, vomiting weight loss, fever, pain in both waists like my both waists are being squeezing tightly, my stomach hurt, muscle spasms, unable to eat and drink anything, then first i went to GP he had prescribed me some medicines like paracetamol, diclofenac, maxolon for vomiting but day by day my condition getting worse i couldn't move my body freely my nerves had like dried and raised up and became like hardened.
Avatar m tn Hi, There are other NSAIDS other than diclofenac that can be used in the treatment of gout. These include indomethacin and naproxen. Even paracetamol (acetaminophen) can provide pain relief in a gout attack. If your father has been prescribed a medication called dutasteride for treatment of the BPH, it is possible that the diclofenac was interacting with it and leading to his problems with urination.
Avatar m tn She has gradually moved from Paracetamol and Ibuprofen to Co-Codemol and Diclofenac Sodium, and most recenly to Dihydrocodeine 30mg. She hates taking medicine, but has been on this stuff around the clock since the injury; yet the headaches occasionaly 'burn through' the medicine. She describes the pain as equivalent with childbirth contractions. In the space of 17 days, she has been to A&E 3 times and the local GP surgery a couple of times.
Avatar f tn diclofenac sodium 50 mg, paracetamol 500 mg.) daily once in evening.
Avatar m tn Hi, I am a 32 years old male and I have been having persistent headache and tinnitus for the past 1 month. Before this on October 2010, I was diagnosed with depression and was prescribed fluvoxamine and risperidone but I have stopped since December last year (still under session though). In January 2011 I suddenly had a 4 day fever and when it finally goes away, I had rash all over my body that is red but does not itch much.
Avatar f tn s given me some extra pain killers and told me to take the following. 8x paracetamol, 3x diclofenac, 4-8 codeine a day. This should keep the pain to minimal whilst she looks over the last results. Other than that, no idea what is causing it, but as it has been 4.5 weeks, they want to get to the bottom of it.
Avatar f tn Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.
Avatar n tn i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.
653169 tn?1303446369 Does anyone have any experience with diclofenac? If so, does it work better than over the counter antiinflammatory drugs and does upset the stomach much?
Avatar f tn Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage, but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.
Avatar f tn I usually take two paracetamol how many should i take now I'm 3 weeks pregnant
Avatar m tn I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.
1204528 tn?1588786333 I checked interactions with carbamazepine + diclofenac epolamine topical/diclofenac ophtalmic/diclofenac potassium/diclofenac sodium/diclofenac topical.
20015933 tn?1488481717 He did the procedure and prescribed Amoxicillin along with Ibuprofen and Paracetamol. I went back home and I was fine. No pain whatsoever and I was glad that for once, I was pain free. So a a day or two after the procedure, I woke up at night with severe pain. I've never felt like this before in my life, I took Ibuprofen and even used Lidocaine spray but nothing seemed to work so I laid down again on my other side until the pain disappeared and I went back to sleep.
1198371 tn?1265930422 We have to remember we have to walk before we can run. I was given diclofenac for 5 days and paracetamol and although it was very uncomfortable and quite painful I'm glad I wasn't on any stronger painkillers as these don't help your recovery as far as I'm concerned.
