t hit anything as he was at the foot of my bed. He then disappeared. During this year, I have been taking Hydrocodone APAP 10-325 to help me sleep and to help with the severe arthritis pain I have in my back, hips, feet, etc. I ordinarily take only one per night, but I was so tired and hurt so much on the night described above, I took three of these tablets! I am quite certain the three pills caused the hallucination, and have taken only one per night since the incident.
Question. I have started taking Diclofenac 75mg x's 2 a day to try and see if a non narcotic medication may give me some relief long term with my rib pain. I have taken it for 2 weeks and at first I didn't think it was helping at all. Now I think 1 of 2 things either A) it's starting to build up in my system and is helping better or B) My ribs just happen to feel a bit better lately.
i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.
Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.
I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.
Hi, welcome to the forum, Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including aspirin, diclofenac and ibuprofen, are associated with an allergic adverse effects, ranging from mild rash to life-threatening allergic reactions. In such cases it becomes difficult to select appropriate pain killer. The next we usually recommend is paracetamol (you are allergic to this drug too). The reason for such allergy is cross reactivity which is seen in this class of drugs.
He also, like many people, had an uneducated aversion towards morphine, so he tried everything else first. Diclofenac (another NSAID) was his favorite pill, which ultimately wiped out virtually all the platelets from his blood, and caused systematic internal bleeding.
Of all the conventional things, I'd say Fentanyl patch was most effective with least side-effects, but his pain was 24/7. By far the worst drugs were Tramadol and corticosteroids. Don't even wanna go into that...
And please remember, that if you see multiple doctors, you should let them know all medications you take including anything over the counter such as aspirin. This information states clearly that aspirin should not be used at the same time. Normally, blood thinners are also not used with Nsaids.
This is a varicocele surgery on his testicles. He had a high fever a few hours ago. I injected diclofenac 75mg in his muscle due to his request. After that, I read about something like "Do not take diclofenac at least 7 days before a surgery". This is about the risk of bleeding, right? So, if his surgeon say that it will be ok, can we trust him? I'm freaking out. Please tell me what should I do. Thanks a lot.
I am still taking hydrocodone for pain 4x a day and still experiencing pain. I have iced, done all excercises, go to Physical therapy ever since my surgery. I am still experiencing pain in both legs on a regular basis. I just don't get it. I excercise when I need to, rest, elevate, ice. I have done it all and have added swimming at the gym the last month. My doctor says sorry for your pain and has x-rayed 2x to see if everything was okay but still in pain.
Monday I wen to the doctor cause I was breeding bad an she told me to take a blood pregnancy test right a way I went and my results came back negative. So she told me to take diclofenac for 3days and microgynon tablets for 3months and today makes two days I was breeding for an it stop.
since nov 2010 i have been in and out of hospital 3 times for the same symptoms very painful swollen testecalls each time given ciprofloxacin 500mg tablets,diclofenac sodium 50mg, for six weeks also told to go to st marys hosp to be checked for std have done so and am please to say all clear. been back to my dr for follow on check only to be given more diclofenac to take for another six weeks WHY?.
I ve tried also diclofenac drops and they help me the best actualy but also after some time I have like blured vision after using them.
At this time I am using artificial tears and sometimes diclofenac drops when redness is so bad...
Please let me know if anybody have similar problems...
I have red/brown freckles on my lower legs and ankles. Have been on diclofenac potassium for a year for a torn meniscus. Could that have caused those spots?

ve become dependent on a drug that used to help you function, but now either requires going to a stronger pain med or putting on the brakes and starting anew...figuring out just how bad life would be without Hydrocodone & the occasional Oxycodone during flare-ups, when it doesn't seem to be all that grand with it...still in a lot of pain...physically, emotionally & spiritually.
