diclofenac for period pain

so it supposed to be good for everything from arthritis to Gout. I take it for pain from a permanent rib injury. It looks like we are about the same age do you mind me asking what you are taking it for? And you are right sometimes they are not very good about telling us that we should not expect results right away and it may take a few weeks for certain meds to work well. Let me know how you do. I am doing well so far but like I said it took a couple of weeks.

I took it for inflammation in my foot. I have a calcification in my acheles tendon. I took an Essential Enzyme with it and had no stomach upset. You can get this at a health food store either online or in your neighborhood. I do know this prescription should not be taken for more than a month or so according to my doctor. So my doc just prescribed Voltaren topical. It's the same thing as diclofenac but topical so you are getting less than 1% of it in your body so it's much safer.

ve gone through 4 or 5 different painkillers and by now they dont work that well even after stepping up the dose to 500mg. it reduces the pain for a couple of hours then the pain is back, and i cant take another tablet so soon after either. the only thing that has worked so far is the diclofenac suppositories i was prescribed once when i was in Italy and had really bad cramps. it works like a charm and is more reliable than anything i've taken so far.

I have a muscle pain on my shoulder that it doesn't let me sleep. It hurts no matter how I lie to sleep. I have taken some pills that are not strong enough to take the pain away. I think I need the strong stuff like diclofenac and B12 and b6. There is a pills called OKA B that I use to take when having muscle pain and it took pains away. But I've heard that diclofenac is not good to take during tx. Has anyone taken diclofenac during tx or is it too bad for the liver.

I have been experiencing moderate to severe pain in my hips, knees, and ankles for the past 4 months. This pain is worse when I have been stationary for a period of time (I.E. waking up in the morning, sitting for an extended period of time) The pain appears to cycle, I will go a couple days and I feel good and then I will have about a week where it is really bad.

I would like to know what other pain killers are available for osteoarthritis. I have been on diclofenac for months for osteoarthritis of the knee and degenerative disk disease. I have tried to stop it several time due to concerns that I may get a GI bleed, have a stroke.... but this seems to be the only medication I have found that helps.

i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.

Some offer limited relief but there is no cure. I also suffer with chronic back pain for which I use a topical pain cream. My arms were itching so badly one day that I smeared the pain cream all over my arms. The itching stopped; of course it came back but I just added more cream. The BRP is Maddening...but the pain cream helps.

Even after I had my left testicle removed, after the third day in hospital there was little pain. The only pain that I experienced was when they changed the packing 4 times a day. Having a sitz bath every 4 hours helped and was needed to prevent further infection.

im 22 years dont have a regular period but my boobs have been hurting so bad for the past week..

(sertraline for depression, co-dydramol for chronic pain from car accident, nortryptiline as a muscle relaxant to help me sleep... and now diclofenac sodium and omeprazole). I have though had an adverse reaction the diclofenac (diarrhoea) and my doc has changed this to indomethacin in the last 2 days. I am now having similar nerve pains (stabbing, burning etc) in my inner thigh on my right leg, which like the myalgia p. gets worse when I lie down to sleep.

I had an allergic reaction to (apparently) a NSAID. I've taken a lot NSAID's all my life for different reasons. I also have a long history of allergies in my life (rhinitis, latex, dog and cat hair, contact and atopic dermatitis) and my grandmother was allergic to basically 90% of all drugs.

The Diclofenac (anti-inflammatory) has taken the pain away :)

On Tuesday night I started to feel intense cramping which I normally dont get during my period. My period is pretty regular and shouldnt be coming for little over a week. The next night the cramps returned. Im on birth control, and my boyfriend and I didnt have vaginal sex, so what could this be?

I have been off the Depo shot since may 2011. Have taken 3 pg tests-negative. My period has not returned & I know it will take a while to return. But my breast feel fuller and sometimes get soar. Is it because it may be around the time of my menstral?? I've gone up in bra size and they still feel tight on me??

Did it actually relieve any of your pain? I've used the tablet form, but it made me sick to my stomach. Is this likely to do the same? Thanks for your help.
