m currently 18 and am going off to college very soon, but I have no idea how to deal with these cramps that incapacitate me for an entire day. My cramps get so bad that I usually faint. For example, when I was around 14 my period came in the morning but I still went to school. Within an hour my cramps got so bad that people said I turned completely white and was sweating profusely.
the only thing that has worked so far is the diclofenac suppositories i was prescribed once when i was in Italy and had really bad cramps. it works like a charm and is more reliable than anything i've taken so far. but my doctor here in India wont prescribe that for me, saying the other regular mefenamic acid tablets are enough, even though i tell her they dont give me much relief. i was even prescribed the same tablets once when i had bad cramps n vomiting and had to go to the hospital.
may be i dont have to bear pain due to fevers or my menstrual cramps..i stopped using paracetamol long ago..after a while i got the swelling whenever i had fevers without any medication..its been 15 yrs since i had swelling allover..had swlling of lips & mouth & minor rashes..i had my allergy test 6 yrs ago back in india..may be i should get them tested again..would desensitization of tylenol help me?
I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?
With both my daughter and this pregnancy I had quite a bit of cramping. They felt like mild (for me) menstrual cramps. My cramps usually make it very hard to even stand up. Having had previous miscarriages it was very scary to be cramping, but I talked with my doc and everything was fine and he said cramping is normal in the beginning but if you have bleeding or severe pain on one side to go to the doc.
so it supposed to be good for everything from arthritis to Gout. I take it for pain from a permanent rib injury. It looks like we are about the same age do you mind me asking what you are taking it for? And you are right sometimes they are not very good about telling us that we should not expect results right away and it may take a few weeks for certain meds to work well.
Let me know how you do. I am doing well so far but like I said it took a couple of weeks.
Is anyone on Diclofenac? I am on it for an orthopedic condition and have been on it almost 4 weeks. It works, but am unsure how long I will be on it. As short a time as possible, I hope,...but, I was wondering....for those with arthritis (which it usually prescribed for,,).....are you on it daily? As an ongoing medication? I hope to go off it to avoid risks with prolonged usage,but up to now...it has not caused me any problems.
i have taken diclofenac for over 20 years with no side effects i have had to come off the tablets 75mg x twice day 4 days ago as I am showing some drying of kidneys from another mediation to ensure it is that one i have come off anything whih might affect me.
Breast tenderness is a common predictor of menstrual cycle. I know each time I was about to get my period, my breasts would swell up and hurt really bad and I would be in the worst mood of life.

My breasts have been hurting since last week.. Is all this normal?
