I had a fibroscan which they said showed early cirrhosis, I have been feeling fine untill about 3 weeks ago, just feel sick after eating. I am overweight but have lost just over 2 stone since xmas, I am 5ft 3in and weigh 11st 10lb, I am also Diabetic. Thanks for your reply.

I haven't seen those on yet, i did see most of the cartoon ones, like frosty and rudolf. But that's it. I haven't even seen it's a wonderful life yet which is strange. And haven't heard any christmas carols on the tv either.

Methadone hampers the digestive system. It doesn't allow your digestive tract to take in nutrients properly. Eat alot of fresh veggies and fruit. Take plenty of vitamins and supplements. This may help. You have lost a dangerous amount of weight. Go to a different Doc. I have been on Methadone for 18 months am in day 5 of being clean. Good luck.

I have been recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I am convinced that I am either not diabetic or not managing my injections properly. I was admitted into hospital with 4+ketones on October 28th 2005 where I stayed on an insulin feed for 4 days, now on 4 injections a day but sufferring at least one hypo a day.

Main motivation to fix is to make it easier for typing, and playing musical instruments (piano/guitar/violin) where I find it hampers progress in terms of agility/precision (I'm right handed, so use left hand for frets). Wondered if anyone could recommend a good way of going about this in the UK (whether NHS or private, where and how) and how long to expect heeling period to be.

Not a pregnancy question I know! I know I sound silly and selfish but I feel really upset, this is our last xmas as just a couple before our baby is here and I've gone all out to spoil him, spending way more than I should have. And he's bought me 3 things and he's not even gonna wrap them - he just said what's the point as I know what I'm having. Can't help feeling so childish - just want to cry I'm so annoyed.

Has anyone figured out a way to get cats to leave the xmas tree alone? My cats climb it, pull the lights off, flick off the balls and attack the tinsel. I think this year I might just throw the decorations onto the tree to save the cats a job. If anyone wants a giggle and has a dog, tie string to one of the shiney balls and make a loop at one end. Now hook it over the dogs tail and watch the dogs surprise as the cats suddenly want to chase him everywhere.

I have numerous brain and spinal lesions, but no O bands so although they say I have MS. I say I don`t!!! I am going to make that my xmas wish. Do you think it will come true?

Go to bed at least 2 hours after food. This will also help you breathe better as acid coming up also hampers breathing. Omeprazole is a good drug to combat this. Along with it you can try over the counter antacids. Avoid heavy meals. Avoid too much of caffeine, tea, fried food and drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic fuzzy ones. Avoid heavy exercises within 4 hours of a heavy meal. Raise the head end of the bed or raise pillows to 30 degrees. Go to bed at least 2 hours after food.

got sore bbs, a bit tender than normal and had slightly swollen tummy but again putting them both down to AF, been having some really dizzy spells lately though and my dad is diabetic so when AF arrives and i can rule out pregnancy i think i might go and get tested for diabetes. :S One thing that is making me rule out pregnancy this month is that ive had no cramping or any twinges so doesnt look too promising :( anybody else on the last week wait?
