The information that the clinic has provided does list a few recipes but I would like to expand a bit as I am becoming board with current food choices. Also, I am mostly a vegetarian but eat some fish. Thanks!

As far as fresh fruits and veggies go, it's possible to freeze the left overs. (Which depending on season may be better veggies and cheaper unit price.) If you get veggies fresh you can blanch them, by boiling them in water for a few minutes, draining them, then freezing them. You should be able to find the times and procedure online for that.

When I began working again and was covered on a new health insurance plan I went to my primary physician ( the new insurance would not cover any visits to the functional medicine Dr) and I told him that my previous physician thought I had a thyroid problem. He ran the usual TSH and free T4 and said, nope you are fine. Fast forward to March 2017.

The first 20 minutes or so you're burning off excess glucose, then you burn fat for energy. If you're not breaking sweat your exercise program is lackadaisical. If you walk start slowly to warm up then pick up the pace as if you're late to catching your airline flight. Don't stroll like you're window shopping at the mall, try to walk with a purpose.

She does not take care of it very good at all. She is 51 years old. She is almost completely blind. They say they can do no more surgery on her eyes. She is about to be on dialysis. We go every 3-6 months for blood work and they said to prepare for it. She has already had one leg amputated because of infection.

One thing that I have found personally is that levels or med types do not reflect weight loss. I don't know how long you have been into thyroid and taking into consideration that we are not all alike. It takes a while for our system to adjust to everything our body has gone through. How long is individual, it could be years (10 yrs for me).

The highest blood sugar value I've had in this past year was 270 mg/dl. (normal 90-110 mg/dl). I was really upset when I found out. The only diabetes related problem I'm aware of having is a fairly high amount of protein lost in the urine. I've been diagnosed with diabetes for about five years and have worked hard to keep it under control with diet and exercise. I'm on 2.5 Glipizide and have been for years. My mother passed away from complications of diabetes and my sister is on insulin.

They agree that it is probably the herpes virus and he prescribes activar topical cream and sends me on my way. six months go by of applying this every morning and evening, with foundation on top of it.
