I recently heard about the Victoria Secret bra scare. I had a breast reduction 1 1/2 years ago and I have not yet healed fully. I continue to go to the plastic surgeon and I have constant itching and swelling around my scars. I always wear Victoria Secret bras and I am wondering if this has anything to do with my present healing. I will ask my physician next week when I go see him for my 8 wk check. What do you think?

Patches are difficult to taper from so I assume you will have to go ct. I think your best bet is to speak with your doctor and ask him for a safe taper plan. that will get you through the physical withdrawal. As far as the blood sugar goes, you should also speak with your doctor. I don't think anyone here can help you with a medical problem such as that. there is also a good diabetes forum here at MedHelp.

m alison i live in country Victoria i have had 5 pregnancies with only one living child and 4 Angel babies. My son is almost 4 and i have two step sons 5 and 2. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant atm and hopeing for a heart beat in a few days at our second ultrasound.

0128 and went to a thyroid doctor. I will have an ultrasound tommorrow and a nuclear thyroid scan on Thursday. My other symptoms are thyroid nodules, a cough that won't go away, hoarsness at times, the feeling of being strangled, earaches, sore throat. I feel hyper in the morning and qite exhausted at night. Hi My name is Victoria Lockett. I am writing to you on the concern of my finace. He has had very bad stomach problems since we met 2 years ago and now is just getting worse. He has been having problems such as: Massive amounts of heartburn, bad indigestion, throwing up at times ( no blood ) and also always has gas 90 percent of the day. He followed up with his doctor on this and I do not think they did the right thing by giving him Nexium.

So my PCP and my Neuro. both thought I had MS because of the symptoms and 3 failed neurology tests (L'hermittes, Babinski reflex and I couldn't stand up with my feet together and eyes closed). MY MRI that I had on Thursday was normal, the receptionist called and said Dr. wants to up my dosage of neurontin and repeat a MRI in 6 months. They didn't do a contrast in the MRI, although the neurologist ordered w/ and w/o contrast.

But when I went to then Doctor recently, then said my glucose reading was a 220. So does this mean I have pre-diabetes or even already diabetes? They are going to run some more tests at the doctor, so I am just wondering. I just can't figure out that if I haven't gotten really sick, then I find it hard to understand how I could have diabetes. And how can my body go from being just fine, to producing little insulin (if it even is diabetes). Maybe I'm in denial...

yes, babe, those could definitely be symptoms of diabetes. but they could also be lots of other things. whatever they are, you should take them seriously and get to your doctor right away. he or she can run some simple blood tests and tell you what's going on. don't put yourself through feeling so badly when there may be a really easy fix. good luck!!

Recently i have been experiencing extreme thirst, frequent urination and hand shakes. I know theses are some symptoms of diabetes however I have not experienced any weight loss. Possibly. The tiredness, blurry vision, nightsweats, and infections COULD be symptoms of diabetes, but I don't know how your epilepsy could be influencing your symptoms. Only a doctor and a test can tell you for sure. You said you got the result for the first fasting test; do you know what the number was? Yes, ask for an A1C. Many doctors are not too educated on diabetes but that is pretty basic.

Hello everyone. Again, I am in the process of being dx. I don't really know the process of it all, and I know it's different for everyone. I am going to my first neuro appointment on Aug. 10th. My primary doctor put on the referral something about MS, maybe possible or look for or symptoms of. I'm not completely sure, but I know she was writing all my symptoms down as I was saying them, so it is documented.
