Have you investigated any of these? They teach great coping mechanisms for people who don't adapt well to stress, and are used frequently in other parts of the world by therapists to help people with this problem.
Avatar m tn Tks for the feedback I never had issues in India and hence I assume based on all of your comments that drinks and food in the UK has triggered this , so in a nutshell I have to get back on proper diet and excercise and keep alcohol away and then check the sugar regularly , at this point I believe there is no need for medication then ?

Avatar m tn I'm not sure I understand why you had to eat such a high carb diet in order to eliminate gluten?? I know you live in India and would have different foods available than I have, here in the U.S. Can you, please, tell me what foods you ate? Do you eat any kind of dairy? In order to eliminate gluten, myself, I would eat fresh/frozen vegetables, which while they do have carbs, they are complex carbs that are not digestible. They are the carbs that are considered "fiber".

Avatar f tn India’s drug industry — on track to grow about 13 percent this year, to just over $24 billion — was once notorious for making cheap knockoffs of Western medicines and selling them in developing countries. But India, seasoned in the basics of medicine making, is now starting to take on a more mainstream role in the global drug industry, as a result of recent strengthening of patent law here and cost pressures on name-brand drug makers in the West.

The (itchy) sensation that comes after the pins and needles is a form of hives. Hense I self diagnosed myself with "Cold" urticaria. This was back in 08' when I was diagnosed with Hypo Thyroid. Now years later in 2014 I have both Hot and Cold urticaria.
Avatar f tn Reglan (metoclopromadine) is a very cheap medication, unfortunately, it is also metabolized in the kidneys, so a too high dose results in toxic levels in the blood. My husband and I discovered that completely bypassing the GI tract by using reglan injections worked much better in the end. Chica didn't get the extra pyramidal side effects (extreme restlessness, shaking and trembling) from the reglan injections that she got from the oral meds.
Avatar m tn I don't know what your health care is like in India, but I would ask a doctor to test you for diabetes and a general health test. An increase in thirst can indicate diabetes and losing weight can be a sign too. Diabetes won't just go away, so try and see a doctor. If only to give you peace of mind that you are ok!
Avatar n tn I have tried to find info on this and sciatica seems to fit the bill more than anything, but everyone says that starts in the thigh and I don't have pain in my thigh. It is quick, severe, and feels like someone is shocking me. I would guess that a shocking pain would be associated with a nerve being pinched. Let me know if you find out anything else.
Avatar n tn About 48 hours ago, I noticed this heat sensation in my left shin. At first I thought I was standing too close to a heat vent in the floor at work! It is a warm, sort of tingly sensation that lasts 5 seconds and occurs, I don't know, 10 times throughout the day. I wonder if I slept on the leg funny?? Stress?? I am 43 and in reasonably good health but seem to be a hypochondriac (spelling?) at times.
Avatar n tn Left untreated, a magnesium deficiency can lead to more life-threatening conditions such as heart disease, hypertension, stroke, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and others. Magnesium's role in energy production. One of the primary roles of magnesium is to activate the adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy storage molecule, to create and store energy. Avatar n tn I can't nerrow it down to lack of oxygen or maybe diabeties because I've had high sugar levels in the past. However, its mostly during a change in the temperature cold/hot and mostly in my arms and shoulders and only if I move my arms or shoulders or if I stretch after a run or in the early morning cold weather.
Avatar n tn I'm also pretty sure it's normal up to certain point for the skin to be some how darker in certain areas. But the difference in me goes from very fair to very dark brown and it was not always like that. The dermatologist will be the last option since I am not really eager to show my very, very private parts to a dermatologist, unless is absolutely no choice.

Avatar f tn It seems to me, at least talking about the UK, that the HIV bandwagon is so well established that any mainstream respectable politician just about has to be on it. In addition, people in this country have access to antivirals which work, therefore are not dropping dead so much, so the horror and death is not among the voting public. It has become sanitised, acceptable.
