I ask because many American companies offer health insurance to their employees which would cover your medical expenses. This is something you may want to look into. As for any other kind of health insurance or travel insurance, I am not aware of any that would be available to you.

An increase in thirst can indicate diabetes and losing weight can be a sign too. Diabetes won't just go away, so try and see a doctor. If only to give you peace of mind that you are ok!

Avatar m tn I was told one time in India, not in the USA, that I have IBS. The doctor gave me the medicine also but I could not bring it to US from India. No I do not take any medicine for GERD. I take metformin for diabetes and synthroid for thyroid. Thanks, Sanjay.
