Common Questions and Answers about Deviated septum uterus

Avatar f tn Hello, I understand that you mean uterus septum from” deviated septum” which is a form of a congenital malformation where the uterine cavity is partitioned by a longitudinal septum. Pregnancy can occur in this but it is associated with a higher risk for miscarriage, premature birth, and malpresentation. Before getting the IVF done, it is best to discuss the treatment options of septate uterus with your gynecologist.
Avatar n tn Anything I put in my mouth causes discomfort and swelling of the upper abdominal area. I do have a deviated septum, acid reflux, the start of an ulcer, inflammation of the lower and upper intestines with no known cause. Recently I found out my uterus lining has doubled in thickness (10 mm) and I'm testing now but I have no idea if that is even pertinent. The swelling in my stomach has reached a new level in the last month. The swelling no longer occurs when I eat but now never goes away.
Avatar m tn My GI doctor suggested FD Guard, no help there, so he put me on an anti-depressant saying I just have a sensitive stomach, no surprise, but that was no help either. I have read something recently saying that a deviated septum could cause GI problems, it didn't go into a whole lot of detail and I am not sure how common this is, but I am trying to explore any other options to resolve this.

I've been back and forth to my docs since august & one doc suggested ovarian cysts butto keep an eye on it. I have even been admitted to hospital for possible appendicitis.
Avatar f tn I had been told by the ent oncologist i went to originally about the recurring left mouth ulcer that if the lymph node was still enlarged after the tooth was gone, (because an infection is the obvious reason for an enlarged lymph node) that he would have it excisionally biopsied.
Avatar n tn Yes, diastisis recti should be covered by insurance! It's no different than having a deviated septum and getting a nose job for free, which people do all the time. It's no different than having a hernia from lifting weights. If men got pregnant, it would be covered. It's an injury!

Avatar n tn I had my tonsils and adenoids removed, hoping it would alleviate some of the pressure and eyes issues, by maybe improving drainage, though it didn't, and I am going to have my deviated septum corrected. I feel like anyone I explain this to just thinks I'm crazy, no one understands. I don't know what to try next or where to turn.
