Common Questions and Answers about Deviated septum surgery wisconsin

deviated-septum

Avatar m tn I only get maybe one sinus infection per year now and I treat it promptly. After my surgery (deviated septum was the culprit), I didn't need prednisone any longer and I went down to a medium dose steroid inhaler along with a LABA. You really should look into dealing with your sinusitis first before embarking on fighting chronic lung infections. Yes they do exist, but common sense says to first deal with the obvious.

Avatar f tn If I have a contact point irritating these nerves due to the deviated septum, the septoplasty could very well stop my symptoms. After researching for over a year, I drafted a statement of some history of my condition, some questions and the areas that I wanted to pursue. I presented it to my latest ENT where I finally got some attention. I have posted it on a second post below with hopes that you might get something from it for your own research.
Avatar n tn Diagnosed w/fibromuscular dysplasia w/renal artery stenosis 7 years ago; gastric surgery 5 years ago;plastic surgery in July (breast reduction and tummy tuck; high blood pressure and I am hypoglecemic. My PCP states he heard something in my neck and has ordered a Caritoid Ultrasound but I am concern that this is not my problem and it is something we are missing.
Avatar n tn At first I thought I was crazy, and that it was impossible for that to happen, but over the last few months it seems to have grown and now anyone who feels the top of my head can easily feel it. It scares me, especially since my husband had brain surgery less than 2 years ago- (symptoms completely different of course) I am 35 years old, the only time I remember hitting my head really hard is when I was in elementary school and I fell and hit my head on a tile floor.
