I have been having chronic problems with post nasal drip and pressure on the bridge of my nose. It's not terribly bothersome, rather annoying. Let me explain what I mean by post nasal drip. I feel like there is constantly mucus stuck in the back of my nose. It isn't really dripping down my throat, rather just sitting in the back of my nose. It feels thick and I often have to snort in order to get it out. It is not discolored, just clear/milky white.
I saw my ENT doctor this morning and she showed the result of CT scan. Indeed I have Deviated Septum and she suggests me to be operated. This Deviated Septum explains excessive mucus in my throat. However, I am still wandering if it causes some bloody mucus in my throat in the morning. For that I worry about my lungs.

I had a nasal surgery of deviated septum...called sub mucosal resection...and after dat I am suffering like hell..I am suffering from a stuffy nose...and white thik mucus..draining from my nose into throat..which leaves a horrible taste..which has reduced my social interaction considerably..please help...
I have noticed that my nose is slightly crooked and this was confirmed when an ENT told me that I have a deviated septum on the right side, but he just told me to use an antihistamine nasal spray and an allergy pill: Clarasil D. These medicines have had little effect. I also hear noises in my ears when I swallow. I hear a click/snap kind of noise, sometimes only in one ear and sometimes in both, when I swallow. I also hear this noise when I yawn.
It seemed to be bigger on one side and Easley touchable on the right more than the left. But belive this might be due to the fact i think i have a slightly deviated septum.
Because i couldnt stop touxhing and pushing proding around in my nose i made it bleed and infected a bad infection and sinus one too.
I think I’ve had this illness about every 2 or more years throughout my adult life, but in the last half year, I’ve had it now 5 times maybe due to multiple bouts of covid. It seems to always start with a heavy night of drinking and then waking up to a sore throat. I’ll have the sore throat, which hurts much worse when I swallow, for several days while also sneezing and having itchy eyes and nose. Then the post nasal drip coughing starts.

In also have had really bad post nasal drip for years and earlier this year in april my dog died and prbably cried more than i have ever before which did not help at all soon after that i started feelin a mild soar throat specially on the left side the pain started becoming stonger and really annoying but i had no other symptoms 2 months in to it i went to the doctors he gave me a culture swab came normal negative for strep so he sent me to a ent the ent made me a endoscopy when he tried stickin
I have asthma, acid reflux, chronic sinusitis, and a deviated septum. Over the past 2 years I've been having worsening issues with coughing after eating. I feel like I have a lot of post nasal drip and heartburn as well. I often cough up clear mucus until I vomit especially if I eat heavy meals which I try to avoid. Pasta seems to be a major trigger. I take medicines for all of my health issues. I keep a dry tickling cough during the day also.

Hi, I have a severely deviated septum on the left side and was getting a Covid swab by an overzealous nurse. She poked me all the way up the left side where my septum was deviated, felt resistance and kept going. I felt a sudden bout of pain and she finally retracted the swab.
Two days later I wake up with clear salty liquid dripping down my throat. I also have a massive daily headache, eye pressure and sensitivity to light.
I had the worst sinus and ear infection of my life.
I had a lot of pain and nosebleeds along with thick colored nasal mucus and lasted for a month and a half. I would wake up with hard like scabs that i did pick off. it even spread to my ears to the point that I had trouble hearing.I eventually went get antibiotics and cleared up.

I felt an inflamation of my throat , i went to the pharmacy and they prescribe to me antibiotics (Cefadroxil / Biodroxil), i am still in the course , but i am astonished now that my tongue is black , Does these antibiotics affect and change the tongue color to Black ? . Before about two weeks my tongue was white and Dr. said to me that was fungels, but now it is black !
I had surgery to straighten a deviated septum, straighten the nose, and open it up some, but the turbinates were apparently left intact - this at age 17. Had the runny nose and congestion before. That was improved afterward and I had 5 or so good years, then the opposite problem of tooo-dry nose-sinuses started to set in and it's been beating me up for about 25 years now.
I was diagnosed with chronic sinusitus, deviated septum, nasal polyps and a possible mucus pocket. I was wondering if this could cause anxiety, depression, off balance feeling, shakiness, weakness, slow, dumb feeling, dizziness, sore throat, ear aches, swollen neck lymph nodes, headaches, stomach ache, weird taste in my mouth, pain and pressure behind and above eyes and fatigue.
i was diagnosed year 2007 with severe deviated septum prior to this i have been experiencing some weird feelings about my health throughout my childhood , teenage and adolescent years. Let me share you my experiences about my health so you could enlighten me if those weird feelings are related to sinusitis/deviated septum as what i am thinking of or you might have experience the same thing.
